Grilled Fish

I didn't know the taste of true snapper until yesterday.

Grill it, just like they do.!

They make awesome Kimchi too, but it isn't for sale.

Was served by the new owner today and he chucked in a free potato scallop and prawn cutlet. Top bloke! The red emperor, prawn cutlet and burger we ordered all tasted great. Beer battered chips came covered in some top tier chicken salt too.

Ordered from here twice recently and on both occasions the food has been really well priced and tasty. Fish is fresh and the chips are crispy. Highly recommend upgrading to beer battered chips.

Honestly, when i went there, it was some of the best fish and chips i ever had. When i went there the second time i ordered the hamburger and it was really good. The cook cooked the food really well and i am impressed. Kudos to the chef

I got a fish burger and chips. It was excellent! Food arrived hot.

Only choice my daughter and I had for dinner on Boxing Day after flying in from Sydney, but it was the only choice we needed. Fish, calamari and chips the first night, burgers the second night with hubby and son as well. Great food, great service and only disappointed that we don't live in the area. Highly recommend!

I order through DoorDash from here regularly and my food is always served hot to me. The whiting is beautiful and give the beer battered chips a go - yum! I'm a very happy customer of Grilled Fish, Clayfield.

Potato scallops or potato cakes... What ever you call them, their sweet potato version is absolutely amazing!!! I've tried sweet potato scallops once before, and they were ok.. but here they are awesome!!!

Freshest fat piece of cod with excellent crispy batter. Get the beer battered chips. EDIT - ordered a 2nd time couple weeks later, thin piece of average cod with overly thick batter. Beer battered chips still good. 5* down to 3*.

Absolutely fantastic food here!! I have only ever found the food to be impeccable! Hot, fresh, crunchy chips and scallops and don’t even get me started on the burgers!! The shop is kept very clean, tidy and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. The serving time is fast and I’ve had delicious mouthwatering meals every time. I can’t wait for my next dinner here!! Great work team!!

First fish and chips experience since I moved to the area. Got a seafood basket with chips which was great value. Good serving of food. Nice and hot when I picked up. Very tasty.

Always delicious. Their chips and fish aren't very greasy at all,as I have tried other places and it isn't nice. Would recommend this shop for anything you get. They also have meal deals so great bargains

I just had a Hamburger with the Lot and it took me back to my childhood when they were made this way! EPIC! It was the best burger I have had in QLD!

Steve served up such a succulent Snapper and Sweet Lip, grilled to perfection.

The fish are fresh and perfectly cooked and not very oily either - so this is one of the very few fish and chip shops my wife will actually eat from, hooray! =)
We have been there at least 7 or more times and consistently excellent. Wonderful find!

The best Burgers in Brisbane. Reminds me of the good old 80's type burger from the local Greek Fisho and best of all they are very well priced and not over priced like most Burger joints are these days.

Dropping another star as cook still not using gloves and is cleaning behind stove other cook uses gloves but had been picking up boxes and other stuff with gloves on then handled my burger bun.

I still think great value but dropping a star as cook handled food after using remote control and cleaning without changing his gloves and had the volume to TV so loud I had to walk away from my outside table to answer the phone

The food here is consistently great in my experience. Had a problem with uber eats delivery a few times but the food here is always perfect.

The dagwood dogs are my favorite, really crispy and yummy. Really awesome fish and chips too.

Absolutely delicious, worth the money and top tier battering. One of the best fish and chip stores with friendly customer service.
