Amazing service all round. Took my hybrid bike in, been having issues with the gears for months. Service was friendly, quick and now my bike is running super smooth! Thank you! Instead of replacing everything it could have been they helped align/fix up the issue for 1/8th of the cost. Seem genuinely interested in helping me understand the bike and get the most out of it.

Great store it's a shame to see them become online only though. I wish them the best so that they may open back up their retail space some day soon.

I booked a service with these guys and detailed a problem with my bike. They went out of their way to phone me and talk me through the problem and got me to bring the bike in to the store. The service guys quickly and happily took the bike in, pulled it apart and spent way more time then I expected. Great customer service guys and I’ll be a repeat customer for sure. Highly recommended !

The negative comments about FTR have no substance or grounds. I've been going to FTR for bike purchases and servicing since 2012 and have only had excellent and friendly service by knowledgeable and skilled staff who are seriously passionate about riding. Most staff compete in the local racing scene and are familiar faces - they care about their customers. I'll always recommend FTR.

The FTR staff were very helpful when I custom-built my dream Santa Cruz Nomad bike and nothing is too much trouble for them. They are very supportive of the MTB community!

I had a terrible creak in my bike, thinking it might be the BB. Went to see For The Riders to see if they wanted to assist.
BB checked, still a creak, cranks checked, cassette checked, chainring checked, still a creak. Changed the rear wheel, no creak!
Re-greased all the moving parts from my rear wheel and mission accomplished. Absolutely great service. Even got a t-shirt to show off to my friends when I’m back in the Netherlands.

I came into the store kind of knowing this was more of a "big boys toys" shop ... but looking for my son (5) to find a bike best suited to him. Not knowing much if anything about small kids bikes, I had quite a few questions. 😁

The whole team were working on bikes at the time, but they took time out and were all extremely professional, courteous, informative and helped me out with everything I needed question wise. Their advice and guidance really helped point me in a good direction to find a bike for my son.

I'll definitely be back for more bike services for my bikes in future. Thank you!

Very happy with the service received from "For The Riders", I did a warranty claim for my bike that I did not even purchased from there and they were really friendly and proactive to assist me with warranty claims with fox; the overall experience was stress free. “For The Riders" handled pretty much everything, got the part back from Fox and installed it back on my bike. I only had to go and collect my bike. I highly recommend these guys as their customer service and support is excellent.

We recently purchased a Scott Spark from 'For the Riders' and we can't speak highly enough of the experience. Firstly, these guys know mountain bikes, and they are open and honest about matching your level to bikes they have. Tom was great to deal with and really looked after us. I also use them for servicing and the quality of work is top shelf.

Super impressed with the service here. I went in to get a new bike and I was served by Jamie. I had already narrowed my choice down to 3 down different bikes. They had great stock so I was able to see the bikes and test ride them around the car park to get a feel for them. At the end of the day I still wasn't sure about 29" wheels, so I took a bike out for a test ride (which was free if I made a purchase there). I had a good time on the demo bike so came back the next day to buy the mountain bike. I have since been for a couple of rides and it feels exactly how I want it to - stable, plush and able to climb well. Thanks heaps guys.

My son and I have visited For the Riders in Annerley on several occasions. I would like to mention Tomas who knows us by name when we enter the store. Tomas is helpful without being pushy. He goes above and beyond. My son always mentions what a great range of bikes they have in store. Thank you for the great service. We will not hesitate to return and recommend.

After an offroad bingle I dropped off the gravel bike for a groupset swap out and service. The talented yet delicate hands of James W weaved their magic. A day later she rolled out of there like a brand new bike. The sun was shining, birds were chirping and I even think a motorist waved to me - I can only assume this was all due to the excellent servicing provided by James. Thanks mate ✌

Being new to getting into a bike I wanted to make sure who I was dealing with could listen to what I was hoping to do , give me guidance on why to buy and also support me after the sale.

From the first email for the riders have been nothing but professional , Chris and Jamie especially have been so knowledgeable and approachable the whole way through not once making me feel like a kook.

It’s rare to see this level of customer service in any industry these days and they have gone above and beyond to make sure I understood the set up, how to maintain it and also what and how it is set up.

I can’t thank them enough and after going to 2 other shops in Brisbane before these guys with disappointing experiences, I’m so glad I went over and saw for the riders.

Can’t recommend them enough.

Great bike mechanics, if you have a MTB then these are your guys. Friendly, informative and fixed my polygon Shimano Deore gear set and the chain backlash problem to better than new! They will be my new mechanics

I moved to Brisbane at the start of the year and totally love this shop. Awesome range of MTB bikes, components and apparel. Friendly, helpful staff and they also have great shop rides which was perfect for getting to know fellow riders and riding spots. Keep up the good work fellas

These guys are awesome. Didn't buy my bike from here but had an issue with it. They couldn't have helped me more. Easy drop off, quick turn around, Fair price to fix and they even organised a replacement part under warranty.

By far the best MTB shop in Brissie. They sell all the spares and dream bikes youll ever need.new mgt is great. They helped out big time when I realised my rear shock doesn't use the bushing at bottom..it has its own bushing.. they pressed it out for me quickly and no charge as i needed to swap mine before a trip a few days later. Excellent service where i have bought my 5/10 shoes, spares and accessories. My last service was done elsewhere due to location..not next time.. I'll bring back here as they know their stuff.

I just bought a Giant Reign 1 from FTR and found the whole experience was made so simple by the guys especially Josh who helped me personally. With above average knowledge for mountain bikes and absolute love for riding, Josh went out of his way to make sure I get the right bike according to my needs. Best shop around and I would highly recommend their services. Thanks again, my bike shreds!!!

First purchase 2016 (new Bike), excellent customer service and friendly staff. Been back to the store many times throughout 2016 - 2018 and the staff have always been helpful. So much so they were the only Bike shop I considered in 2018 for my second new bike purchase. Very Happy!!!

Best bikeshop in Brisbane. I got a fantastic deal on my Yeti and they have an amazing workshop team who always get it running super smooth whenever it has needed a service. The shop is run by riders so good to just drop in for a chat as well. Highly recommended.
