Scherhazade Indian Restaurant

Excellent Indian food. We are new to the south of Brisbane and we have tried all India restaurant in this street. This was the last and we didn’t want to come as it’s always empty but don’t let that put you off. We were very surprised. The food was wonderful and this will be our favourite and regular Indian hangout. We will see you next weekend. BYO drinks and friendly staff.

Fabulously genuine and delicious food. My children will choose the butter chicken here over any other Indian restaurant. The atmosphere is cosy and the staff are friendly. I recommend the Madras and the Goan Fish curry. The naan is proper fluffy naan too.

Awesome tasting Indian food. Would love to come here again. Chicken Korma was amazing!

So after more than 10 years of take away at Curryville, we found ourselves dining out at Sherazade on a Wednesday. Completely empty apart from the odd takeaway customer, this was probably the best indian food we have had in many years. Highly recommend the place! Next I will try their takeaway.

Ah and portions were fine!

Best Indian I’ve had in Brisbane so far

Partner and I got a banquet takeaway from here over the weekend and was very pleased! The lady on the phone was lovely and gave me some great recommendations for a veggie curry. The delivery was only $5 and food was delivered within the hour.

There was so much food - great value for money! The food was very tasty and not full of oil like many other restaurants we've tried.

Will definitely be returning!

cleanest dishes I've ever seen whoever does your dishes, give them a raise. Just a shame that cool waiter left though, think his name was jackson, please get him back!

As for the negative reviews my suggestion is to give them a try and don't be influenced by a minority.

Have been coming to this restaurant for almost 5 years now and it is by far the best Indian food in Brisbane. It’s always cooked fresh and they never disappoint! I live in the north side of Brisbane now and I still drive down to Morningside because there’s nothing else that compares!

Best curry I've had in the East of Brisbane! Reminded me of proper London curry. Reasonably priced, big portions and good garlic naan.

haven't experienced something this exquisite since I first heard Antonio Vivaldi's 9th symphony in F minor.

Delicious! Ordered from here on UberEats and I am very impressed. I have never seen such perfectly done rice in my life. Based on these reviews I would never go into the restaurant but perfect for takeaway! everything was super delicious! Loved the papadums

I ordered the Lamb Biriyani tonight through UberEats, it was delicious and good portion. The Raita that came with it is the best Raita I have tasted in a while. I think the food stands out to me for how simple and light and well balanced it was. Thank you!

The best restaurant in Brisbane and very authentic Indian food. Enjoy eating at Scherazade every time. The service is first class and the food just gets better so tasty. Have been eating at this restaurant for so many years and we just keep coming back .

where do I even start? This is probably the best Indian Restaurant I've been to! They had excellent staff - very helpful, tasty food, and I'm definitely going back!

We randomly visited the restaurant with families but did not know what should we eat and looking for a perfect vegetarian restaurant for our parents. The staff was so friendly who helped us to customize the food with vegeterian option and no spicy, The food was great with awesome flavour. The location is not really far from Brisbane City, you can find offsite parking. We enjoyed our food.

We have had takeaway from Scherhazade several times, last night we took some friends there for dinner, and dining in was awesome. The food, whether takeaway or in the restaurant simply tastes amazing, great value, and service is always with a smile and a friendly chat.
As an English person in Australia I've always found it hard to find an awesome curry, nowhere has ever tasted close to curries I'd have back in the UK, but Scherhazade ticks all the boxes for myself as a brit and my partner as an Aussie.
Scherhazade is a rare find and somewhere we will return to time and time again, we can't recommend highly enough!

Went tonight and had the 2 person banquet. Really lovely but a little too much food for us. Had to take a doggy bag. Very tasty dishes with a great authentic flavor.

Had many meals from this restaurant and always fantastic food. Very consistent and traditional. Best Chicken Vindaloo in the area..
