La Vue Waterfront Restaurant

This restaurant was exceptional from the moment we arrived. The owner was on hand to offer us as first time visitors “his preferred bubbles” and thereafter all was well! The occasion was my last day of being 68! The beautiful staff attended to our needs and were very caring - btw the food was “impeccable” - thank you for a stunning meal and the ambience was perfect for us! Merçi Beaucoup!

My partner and I got married here on 11/01/2024 and had the most wonderful day. Us and all of our guests couldn't and still can't stop raving about the service, food and impeccable help Ronaldo and his team were at La Vue. We love that everyone got to choose their meals and the French cuisine is to die for. The staff were always there to top drinks up and ensure everyone was happy. Nothing was an issue, including last minute scrambling with flowers, table decor and cake assistance when we had a lot going on. Thankyou so much Ronaldo and everyone at La Vue. Rebecca and Arnaud

La Vue is our favourite restaurant. We go every anniversary & a few times in between. We have always had wonderful service, the food & atmosphere is amazing (although my husband always has duck) & you can’t beat La Vue. Always look forward to our next visit❤

Booked a reservation for a birthday celebration. Very recommended for a nice, romantic, intimate dinner night out.

Pricey food but i think you’re paying for what its worth - food was flavorful and tender.

Enjoyed the champagne and wide range of wine selection.

La Vue is amazing. The owner is a delight. The cuisine is incredibly delicious and so beautifully presented. It is elegant, relaxed dining at its best. My daughter and I enjoyed a wonderful lunch there recently. The owner made us feel so welcome. The setting is really beautiful looking out across the river to Story Bridge. Most notable too was how there was no noise, away from the street traffic and ‘loud’ people. The music was so well chosen. We loved the entire experience from beginning to end. Thank you Ronaldo and staff. We shall return!

My wife and I recently visited this restaurant for a date night.

I had one of the specials which was duck breast with gratin, I can't remember the name of the sauce, however the duck was cooked perfectly and the entire dish was delicious.

My wife has the eye fillet, which was amazing.

The staff were incredibly friendly and the food was served reasonably fast.

If I was being picky I would say the only let down may have to be the decor in the restaurant. Other than that the place is exceptional.

Top spot in Brisbane CBD with great views, very good French/Australian cuisine served on a starched white tablecloth with fresh flowers placed in the centre. A french waitress gave great service. The restaurant was fully air-conditioned. Best of all was the lovely, quiet atmosphere with lovely piano music playing in the background.

Had a delightful lunch with attentive & polite team of service staff, menu was varied with options and included vegetables with meal. Had scallops for entrees and King Prawns for mains and both were cooked perfectly and served with a smile. Was a delight to have chef come and check too. Great view and atmosphere.

We recently had our wedding reception at La Vue and it was flawless!
The food was simply divine and melted in the mouth. Our guests could not stop complimenting every course!
The staff are so attentive, friendly and professional! Each course came out so quickly and the portion sizes were very generous.
Ronaldo did such an incredible job catering within our budget and assisted with coordinating our vendors to take the stress off us.
We cannot wait to come back for another spectacular night and hopefully celebrate every anniversary here! Thank you for making our wedding so special for us and our family.

Had an amazing time. Food was great, river view is excellent. We went there for my mum’s birthday and the service was excellent . I think her name was Shyma? She even sang the happy birthday song as she brought out the dessert. She was so sweet and kind - and along with the rest of the staff! Other restaurants can learn a thing or two from them. They truly have an amazing team :) Thank you again.

Two friends and I had a wonderful time at La Vue on Saturday night. The food was amazing, delicious and was top shelf all the way from starter to dessert. The wait staff were highly efficient, attentive and genuinely focused on providing a high level of service. The views are stunning and I would wholeheartedly recommend La Vue to anyone living or visiting Brisbane.

Great seatings, the atmosphere and music, the staff is very friendly and provided a good service. Food was cooked to perfection.

We booked here for my sisters birthday and the moment we walked it we were treated perfectly. The food came out so fast and all dishes were delicious. I had a feeling that the food would be abit smaller being a little bit more expensive place, however I couldn't even finish my main dish. Amazing place!

My wife and I have frequented this wonderful restaurant many time for our birthdays, Anniversaries and special occasions joined by friends and family. The minute we arrive, we feel special greeted by great staff. On 15th Feb 24 we celebrated our 32nd Wedding anniversary and our waiter Theo was delightful, looked after us and made our special occasion very memorable. The food was amazing as always and couldn't fault a thing. Would highly recommend La Vue for a fine dining experience, overlooking our beautiful Brisbane River and story Bridge. Thanks for always making our night amazing.

A romantic atmosphere to celebrate our anniversary which was honoured with special 'anniversary' desserts. Superb cuisine, and the professional staff completed a wonderful experience. Our French waiter was particularly first class.

The most wonderful dining experience I have ever had. The food is unbelievably delicious, the presentation is fantastic, the atmosphere is gorgeous, the resturant is stunning and the service is immaculate. I would definitely recommend La Vue for an unforgettable experience.
