Cairns Rainbow Resort

The rooms were clean and tidy. The price for the location was fantastic. They are undergoing renovations at the moment so can't wait to see what they will be like. The staff were wonderful and very helpful.

Enjoyed our stay at this place. For the price range the rooms are a good size, the pool clean and a nice temperature. The place is generally well maintained and compared to hotels in the cities you get good value for money. Beds comfy and daily housekeeping including tea and coffee and biscuit top ups. The location is okay- we were without a car for some days and we easily walked to nearby cafes as well as into Cairns and along the beach front boulevard.

The staff here are very nice. The rooms are spacious but the A/C doesn't quite get the job done. However, that's OK because there are very efficient fans in each room. The pool is awesome, concrete with a waterfall and jacuzzi. Would recommend this place to anyone looking stay in Cairns who does not mind staying. A bit away from the ocean front.

Had an excellent stay at the resort and the staff couldn’t do enough to help. Very accomodating and always greeted with a smile. The room was very comfortable and the laundry facilities and pool were a welcome change from other places I have stayed.
I would highly recommend a stay here.

I'm enjoying my stay here .. I feel a good ambience, the staff are Friendly and I love the pool especially at night. I'm happy while I work my business cleaning and treating the split system air-conditioning in the rooms. Cleanacon Air-conditioning provides and promotes Clean healthy Indoor Air.

Great experience and stay!! Other than getting chased by a homeless man with a knife the rest of the stay was great! Clean rooms, great service and very convenient location.

Clean and tidy appearance, well presented and well looked after with its own bar and restaurant. Also allocates its own outdoors swimming pool and adjoining spa, as well as supplying its very own guest laundry. Within walking distance to City Central.

The Rainbow Resort is budget accommodation. As long as you remember that you'll be fine here. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the staff are friendly and welcoming and it's a great roof base from which to explore the Cairns region.

To make it clear the 5 star is not because the rainbow resort is the luxurious Hilton etc.
Its gets 5 stars because of its very freindly & helpful staff & manager, lovely clean comfortable rooms, great swimming pool & grounds. What ever we asked for was no trouble & given with a genuine smile. Car parking provide, easy access to free WI-FI (which really worked, no fuss, with good strong signal) restaurant in house & close to shopping, esplanade & cairns cbd.
All this for a great price, Absolutely Fantastic, Nothing to complain about. In fact came back a further 2 times after our original booking. & when back in cairns next year Rainbow Resort is where i ll will be staying.

Good hospitality and stay. Our room was facing the swimming pool , has a laundry service indoors. Major attractions are a walk away.

This is the only budget accom in Cairns we ever stay at, she hits a sweet spot between price, location, atmosphere and facilities. The staff are always ready to help however possible, theres plenty of parking and everything in cairns is still only a 5min walk away. Not to mention that Rainbow Resort charm ;) and when the pool side bar is open it can be a blast as well.

Great atmosphere, great people, clean facilitys. Come here as a backpacker or a local who just wants a good crowd around them. Highly recommend this place.

well its a bit of a dump depending on what youre into but its really cool. Everyones nice the rooms fine and the waterfall in the pool is cool

Good old fashion customer service.. Makes you feel like your coming home... As well as clean and comfy and pretty good on the wallet...

The room has everything you need, gorgeous pool, restaurant, room service, laundry, friendly service. Awesome.
