Doctor Pozzi was recommended to me for a knee replacement 3 years ago. The surgery was very successful and everything happened just as he said it would which included a considerable amount of discomfort for several weeks. 2 weeks ago Doctor Pozzi performed hip replacement surgery on me. This was very successful and I’ve been almost pain free since a couple of days after surgery and can now walk with no aides and almost no discomfort. The hip was much easier than the knee. Doctor Pozzi is very down to earth and straight forward and just tells it like it is and I would highly recommend him to anybody with major knee or hip problems.

3 Weeks ago my husband underwent bilateral knee replacement surgery performed by Dr Pozzi...we can't thank him enough for the fantastic result he has given him, walking without crutches at 2 weeks and only mild painkillers during the day. Never had an ounce of grief and wound is amazing. You have transformed out lives already, thank you for your wonderful work. 😇😇

Dr Pozzi is an excellent surgeon. He carried out a total hip replacement for me at 36 years of age, correcting a leg length discrepancy of almost 3cm at the same time. Undoubtedly an expert in his field, Dr Pozzi is pragmatic but also cares for his patients. Highly recommend to anyone considering major hip surgery.

Thank you Dr Pozzi, bilateral knee replacements were a scary prospect. In good hands from start to present recovery stage, which incidentally is cruising along as it should. Success!

Years ago, I was 17. A 4-wheel drive smashed me off my bicycle and Dr pozzi put me back together again.I can walk because of him. FOREVER GREATFUL

Knee was an unstable mess, till he operated and sorted the problem....😀😀😀

My experience with Dr.Robert Pozzi 's office or staff was extremely unpleasant,a date of the surgery was already set,, I explained to them I couldn't afford to pay his full price 4 days before the sugery and asked if they would participate in my gap health fund even though he was registered as a gap health surgeon in my health fund ,they refused to participate in my health fund gap cover which I had paid extra to upgrade my health fund in order for the procedure to be done ,I waited 1 year and still couldn't get a gap cover.....the practice seemed unsympathetic to my financial circumstances and were unwilling
to compromise .
..he might be considered one of the best in Cairns but his staff projected to me an uncaring attitude.
Finally I had no choice but to cancel the date of surgery in 4 days time,because I couldn't afford the FULL PRICE.of his services.......still in pain now and seeing what to do .....and now waiting in the public system .

I would give Zero stars if I could. I first thought Dr Pozzi would be a competent doctor but I had to discover that he is not well educated and could not even see my inflamed tissues and bone structures on the pictures. He said I was ready to go back to work even though I urgently needed a surgery on my knee. It was a work injury and I have to warn everybody that Dr Pozzi does not act in the interest of his patients , he almost ruined my life by attesting to work cover I was fit to go back to work and that almost cancelled my surgery with the professional Dr. I am with now .Dr Pozzi is not a doctor but a work cove associate that's it. On top of that he lies and is very rude and shows aggression when questioned about his unprofessional manner. Be aware this guy can ruin your life and health ! Look at his fancy interior design all paid for with your work cover $$$

Went to see Dr Pozzi for my Frozen Shoulder (adhesive capsulitis) and asked for a referral for hydrodilatation. He refused because 'in his experience it doesn't help' instead he gave me a referral for a cortisone injection (when he knew I was already in the frozen stage so not in alot of pain). I walked out feeling frustrated and not listened to. I didn't have the cortisone and I got a referral for the hydrodilatation elsewhere. After the hydrodilatation, I had immediate improvement in ROM and 4 days later was able to lift my arm 180° to the side (from 45°) then got hit with a $210 bill for the appointment withDr Pozzi! Waste of time and money
