Cairns Rainforest Retreat

My partner and I have just had the pleasure of staying 8 nights at this wonderful place. It was our idea of heaven and such a treat to know that we had it to come back to after exploring all that Cairns has to offer.
The owners couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. We were very sad to leave and wouldn't hesitate in recommending to anyone looking for a peaceful rustic retreat literally on the edge of the rainforest.

I love this place! A wholesome experience for us! Spectacular view, tropical vibe with BBQ, large swimming pool and a chalet with 180 panoramic view of rainforest. Overall wonderful stay

What a magnificent property. Was in our element waking up to the beautiful scenery and the sounds of birds. Room was perfect. Breakfast was amazing. Hosts very friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely recommend this place. 🙂

We spent 2 nights in this tropical paradise, the owners were awesome and nothing was too much trouble. The atmosphere is tranquil and the cabins are beautifully decorated and the bed is comfortable. The only problem we had was leaving. Would highly recommend. Thank you Antje & Ben for an amazing stay 😀

We actually got engaged In one of the awesome tree houses. This place excelled our expectations. The view of the rainforest from the bed, deck, bath, every part of the room was beautiful. Once you walk up the tropical driveway area you instantly are removed from the city and can quickly forget you are in town. The outdoor kitchen set-up was done well and the breakfasts were more than can be eaten, delicious and well worth it. The bloke who looks after the rooms and helped us check in was super friendly, well knowledgeable of Cairns and someone you could easily have a few beers and a yarn with. We only met one of the owners but she was extremely friendly and made the stay feel even more comfortable and homely. Her mother also bid us farewell when we left and made us excited at the idea of returning. We will always stay here from now on anytime we venture back to beautiful Cairns. Well done to a cozy, friendly, well managed and thought out business.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for two amazing nights. The homeowner and family were just magnificent. They helped us pick us some groceries and gave us all the best restaurants. This little piece of paradise is 10 to 15 minutes from town driving. The room is well kept and give you a feel of being in the rainforest. I highly recommend, you won’t regret it.

We went to CRR during our honeymoon. The staff were amazing, and decorated the room for us, and gave us a bottle of champagne, which was a wonderful surprise.
The bed was extremely comfortable, the aircon in the room was super effective, and the spa bath was a great touch with powerful jets.
The room looks straight out to the rainforest, with a small creek / waterfall that flows on rainy days. The cabin is extremely private, and made us feel like we were the only ones in the rainforest.
The infinity pool / BBQ area were immaculately presented and were a real cherry on top for our stay. The included breakfast was delicious.
Overall the place has been very well thought out, and we'll definitely be back when we're in Cairns next time. Probably one of Cairns's best kept secrets.

Overall we loved our stay, however if you're someone who is opposed to the occasional mosquito, spider or bug in the room, not having curtains, or poor water pressure & needs fast wi-fi, this place may not be for you.

Cannot recommend staying here highly enough - attention to detail is spot on, they've thought of everything. The owners go above and beyond to ensure you have a comfortable stay. Pod coffee machine in the room, all the makings for breakfast available at the outdoor dining area. Fantastic outdoor lounge, perfect for relaxing by the pool and having a few drinks. Rooms are very private, only 2 cabins available and you feel like you're the only one there. Will be staying here again for sure

I usually don’t leave reviews, but this B&B is a real gem. I’d have to say it’s one of the best places I’ve ever stayed — and I’ve stayed in quite a few places! The host Antje was so kind and made us feel super welcome and taken care of. Situated 15 minutes outside of downtown Cairns, it’s a perfect location that’s not too far from the city while also nice and secluded with beautiful rainforest views. The cabins have wrap around windows/sliding wooden doors giving 180 degree views of the beautiful foliage plus a massive jacuzzi that’s absolutely fantastic. Breakfast is delicious and specially prepared for each guest. If this place is available and you’re thinking of booking, do it now! You won’t regret it. Can’t wait til we can make it back for another stay!!

This place is an absolute gem in Cairns, and of Australia. So rarely can you get something so magical yet so affordable and in AUSTRALIA - land of the overpriced and under-delivering things. The location is amazing, you're literally amongst dense rainforest. There are two cabins total so it feels very private. Breakfast is provided every morning inclusive of the cost and it is delicious. The hosts are also very friendly and helpful. Could not recommend this place more highly, it is the best accommodation I've experienced in Queensland, maybe all of Australia.

One of the best places I’ve ever been to. The bedroom is a dream, surrounded by trees and jacuzzi next to your bed. Breakfast is amazing!!! Beautiful pool, bbq and sofa area to enjoy and relax!
If you are looking for something different, unique, private and relax this is the right place!
Also really close to town so you can still go to the city and at the same time have some quiet.

We cannot praise this place and the owners enough! The cabin exceeded all our expectations. Close to the city but quiet and living literally in rainforest. Everything from the bed to the bathroom, jacuzzi, table and chair on the balcony, was just perfect. Breakfast provided and outdoor
kitchen if you want to cook as well. I jumped in the inifity pool and also got frost bite but worth it haha.

When I first set my eyes on the bedroom, I had to pinch myself and ask, “ is this place for real or am I dreaming?”. It’s just a beautiful, beautiful place. A little paradise hidden away. Antje and Ben are such great hosts, very helpful .
And, gosh! The breakfasts they bring out each morning... just fantastic.

We have had a lovely stay in this beautiful B& B. Dianne is a wonderful hostess who makes a great cooked breakfast. She is very accommodating and assists in any way she can. Lovely surroundings very peaceful. Would highly reccomend😃

Our second time back and Dianne's service is still outstanding. Beautiful and natural surroundings, perfect location, fantastic food and exotic fresh fruit platters. Rooms are very clean, tidy and modern. Will definitely return! Thank you.

An absolutely amazing place, there are 2 nice timber cabins, built up in the rainforest, in Cairns. They have a spa in each cabin & access to the pool, which faces the rainforest. Very laid back & relaxing, less than 10 minutes from the major shopping centre. The hosts are super friendly & very helpful. We absolutely loved it, we will be back. 👍👍👍👍😘

Fabulous place, on oasis, close to the busy city, but deep in rainforest. We enjoyed so much that almost wanted to stay in instead of touring the city sites.
