We've had our new solar system just over a week now and so far I'm very happy and I think we made the right decision with both our selection of solar equipment and our supplier/installers East Coast Solar. (Trina panels & Sungrow Inverter). Both Jon & staff in the office and Steve and the installers did a great job. The workmanship was high quality and service, professional. According to the iSloar App that monitors our power generation my first week has been "free power from the sun" and we managed to put excess power back into the grid earning us $23.
Like the previous reviewer I look forward to my next bill which could be in credit 🤞our last bill was $368 / month. If this keeps up we could pay for our system in savings on our bills in just over 2 years.
We also used the free service from "Solar Quotes" highly recommended too. I've gone from knowing nothing about solar to at least understanding the basics and hopefully not making a poor decision.

Chris, Raymond, Rick and Corey did a fantastic job installing split systems to two bedrooms of our home. They were knowledgeable about meeting our needs, and the workmanship was excellent. Felt very comfortable with their approach. Highly recommend.

Quality components, good customer service, advice and follow up calls regarding progress, brilliant installers. These guys stood out for all the right reasons. Within two hours of requesting a quote I had five quotes for different system configurations. Other companies failed even returning my call. Signed up next day and three weeks later the system is installed. Installers did a very neat and tidy job - big thanks for that. Would highly recommend.

It was a good experience to work with Chris and his team. Before we looked at a few companies trying to contact them but just lost the time waiting for their representative or quota. Chris was recommended to us by our friends, who is very pleased with their work .We contacted and had a quick response with quote and installation . We recently had a 13.3 kW solar system installed and could not be happier. Our salesperson Jon was knowledgable but not pushy. We did our due diligence and looked at 4 companies. The price quoted was the price charged. We checked the quality of the products offered and were exactly as Jon said they were. These guys were not the cheapest, nor the dearest. We wanted a company that had a track record, a few employees and was local. Their reviews were great. So was our experience. Chris, the manager and one of the people ‘on the tools’, was straightforward and reliable. The tradies were efficient, clean and polite. After going through the usual 3 quote process we decided to go with East Coast Energy Solutions due to the fact that Jon was on the ball and answered all of our questions immediately and definitely knew his subject. He did not pressurize us or offer something we did not want just advised and sent us through brochures etc. Chris followed up with how the installation process would happen and the date it would happen on. The installation team of Jamie and his offsider turned up early in the morning and walked us through the installation process and were both polite and courteous even when the weather turned and the rain started! Jamie discussed different solutions for cable runs and positioning of the inverter etc.

The East Coast Energy team kept us informed throughout the whole process from start to finish. I would highly recommend this company to anyone wanting solar installation.

East coast energy provided a complete service from start to finish. They responded very quickly when a quote was requested and provided a walk through of the premisis to make sure that where it was going to be installed would work for us. Then when it came to installation they were very flexable with timing and were able to work around both our busy schedules and the severe weather event that recently hit Cairns. It was installed very professionally and in a timely manner.
All in all, it was a great price for a quality product and exceptional service.

From start to finish, Chris was a breeze to work with to get our solar installed. He sent me a Google image shot of the house and where the panels would be installed with full detailed information.
