DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Cairns

A great hotel in a fantastic location. Just a block away from the main hustle and bustle of The Esplanade tourist area but close enought to walk. It was very peaceful. The staff were lovely, the breakfast was of a good standard and the room was clean and comfortable. Some nice touches with a complimentary warm cookie on arrival and a bottle of wine from the Vine Room. We are looking forward to the next time we stay here.

It was a wonderful stay for two nights in Double Tree by Hilton Cairns. My friend and I could rent out the towel for the snorkeling at reception. And a staff from Japan at the reception recommended us “Tha Fish” for dinner, and it was amazing. We enjoyed seafood plate with oyster and seafood paella there. We liked the cookies from the reception too.
We enjoyed the view of beautiful mountain and palm trees with some birds on them from our room on third floor. The room was so clean and there were two comfortable fluffy seats. We also enjoyed relaxing at the lobby with very comfortable unique seats. After the breakfast, I asked to the staff at the restaurant whether I can bring the cup of coffee at lobby and he gave me the paper cup to take away the coffee. My friend liked that there were four pillows on each bed too. All the staffs gave us perfect quality customer service which makes us smile and we really appreciate that. I’m looking forward to staying there again someday. Thank you so much.

A very nice 4 star hotel right on the Cairns Esplanade across from the waterfront.
Nice balcony with water views. I stayed on 31st December and had front row seat to the NYE fireworks.
Shower is very nice with a huge shower head.
Walking distance to loads of great restaurants along the Esplanade.
Small but well equipped gym.

My wife and I stayed at the doubletree by Hilton for a quick 4-night birthday get away, and the staff were absolutely wonderful and accommodating. We requested an early check-in and were able to access our room at 11am (instead of the usual 3pm check-in). When we got to our room, we realised that there was a loud noise coming from a building across the road and requested to be moved because my wife has sensory concerns - this happened within 20 minutes. On my birthday, staff were waiting with a 'happy birthday' sign at the breakfast buffet (which is also very good!). After our room had been made up, we found a block of chocolate, a bottle of sparkling wine, and a lovely note. They truly made our stay so easy and special. The rooms themselves could use a little updating (some lights and power points not working), but overall, a very comfortable stay.

Having stayed at many hotels on my many visits to Cairns, DoubleTree by Hilton has exceeded expectations and become my favourite. Every staff member deserves a big thank you for their outstanding customer service, friendliness and pride in the work. The hotel itself is in the best possible location, relaxing vibe, beautiful pool area and the list goes on. I stayed 5 nights and enjoyed every aspect of this property.

The services of the Hotel was exceptional!
I left my sun-glasses in the room after checking out, so I went to the Hotel and asked them for some help and they took care of it smoothly and friendly.
Unfortunately I couldn't find my sun-glasses, I felt very safe.

Went here for business. The staff at the reception area were very helpful. She gave us tips on where we can go for our short trip and even gave us extra cookies which I absolutely devoured. Will definitely book this place again when I have the chance to comeback.

We were delighted with our stay, the staff were friendly and our room was clean and comfortable, our balcony view was outstanding, actually amazing. Loved every moment, thank you for making my 60th birthday memorable.

Staff are hard working and compassionate!
Myself and my partner had to book a last minute room at Double Tree due to our pre-arranged accomodation with extended family falling through.
The women who checked us in, Eyerusalem was very professional, and made us feel very welcome at Double Tree (thanks for the complimentary compassion-wine!), despite unfavourable circumstances that same night which led to our last minute booking.
All the staff keep the hotel at the highest standard, despite it not being a fancy pants 5 star establishment.
The breakfast was standard, but a large verity nonetheless, even congee!
The rooms feel a bit tired, but otherwise very clean and well maintained despite some fixtures having seen a few years of use.

Stayed one night in the only Suite in the hotel to celebrate a birthday. The King Suite is extremely spacious as you would expect with a beautful open plan bedroom, lounge area and dining table. It has amazing sweeping ocean views from and huge balcony. The suite is well appointed with a super comfy King size bed with luxurious feather pillows and has a large bathroom with corner spa bath. The staff at the Double Tree are absolutely fantastic, friendly, helpful and professional. Buffet breakfast was very tasty and fresh with a great selection of hot and continental food. The Vine bar out the front is also a lovely spot to relax and have a drink. All in all couldn't fault this place, walking distance to everything too !

This was my first time in Cairns and found the DoubleTree Hotel excellent. I could not fault the position, food or staff. I have been a coach driver in New South Wales and been around.
Hopefully we will be back in October again (and stay in the same room)

Cyclone Jasper hit land during our stay and this hotel went above and beyond to keep us safe and provide food, snacks and water as well as frequent updates. Thank you for having clear procedures and taking such good care of us. In addition to this you get friendly staff, a perfect location and great value for money. Nice hotel with professional and courteous staff. Quiet walkable area on the Esplanade with an abundance of shopping and restaurants nearby. The breakfast was quite tasty with many fresh options including made to order omelets.

Just finished a stay of 9 days at the Hilton - the staff were very helpful and attentive of us and my son. I LOVED the text service, they were SO prompt it was crazy. The pool was a perfect place with some shade for the infant too. Buffet breakfast swapped and changed most things plenty of choice although I thought there would’ve been more variety of fruits being a tropical location - Passionfruit, mango, oranges ect. None the less they accommodated us every morning and the staff were great.
The beds were so comfy. The room was a bit dirty on arrival with some rubbish on the floor and hairs in the bathroom, but I just cleaned it with baby wipes although it definitely needed a through vacuum.
The staff also gave me late check out & cookies - check in was easy, location right next to the water. Perf

We stayed at the hotel for seven nights and loved it! The room was clean, modern enough, had a kettle/coffee machine, hairdryer and a safe to store your belongings. Not to forget about a complimentary bottle of vine and free parking included to our offer. We chose an ocean view and the room had a balcony with an outdoor furniture and a coffee table to enjoy sunrises and sunsets.
The hotel staff were absolutely amazing and accommodating our requests going above and beyond expectations.
We had buffet breakfast included to our stay which had great variety of food with daily menu alternations.
We weren't lucky with the weather and the pool was too cold for us but kids enjoyed swimming. The pool towels were easily accessible and the pool area was lovely for either sun baking (in season) or resting in a shade.
The location of the hotel was just perfect with eateries, markets and supermarkets nearby as well as Cairns aquarium and playgrounds.
Would highly recommend staying at Doubltree by Hilton!

Togo and Natsumi delivered outstanding customer service throughout our stay, accommodating three families totaling nine people at DoubleTree Cairns. The diverse breakfast options were enjoyed by all, and the hotel facilities, including table tennis and the swimming pool, added to our overall satisfaction. Togo readily provided breakfast boxes for our early departure, showcasing a commitment to excellent service. Our experience at Hilton DoubleTree was truly delightful.

We had a lovely 3 night stay. All the staff were so friendly and went out of their way to accommodate us. Chloe sent messages each day to check everything was ok also. The room was great. We upgraded to the 5th floor with a balcony and sat out there every night. Thank you for making our stay in Cairns enjoyable.

This is a very professional hotel which met expectations at every level. They gave us a good upgrade to a suite, which had a hot tub and sweeping views across the bay. The service was friendly and helpful and the bar was an enjoyable place for a drink. Overall, this one comes highly recommended.

Best service ever I've experienced! Staff fulfilled every our enquiries. Kid enjoyed free cookies several times... Location is great too!
