Reef Backpackers Hostel Cairns

If you’re not a party person, this is the right hostel for you ! Super quiet and super clean. The manager Leo did a fabulous job, his vibe was unique and you felt welcome from second one. Unfortunately he left but the new girls behind the reception are also very friendly and helpful. WIFI is fast at anytime. The hostel is close to the city centre and the lagoon. The kitchen is clean, big and very well prepared. Everything you need you’ll find it there! The dorm bed rooms are clean but room C is super smelly. Don’t know how people can sleep inside but not my problem. I stayed and worked there for 3 weeks, never had a problem with the owners. But yes, it’s true they are there very often and bossing random people around. However, I would recommend this hostel.

Awesome place for stay few or more days. The place is pretty nice, the beds are confortable, everything is clean. The structure also have a small swimming pool, laundry, kitchen, fridges for your own food. There's enough place for leave your bike inside and several places for share whit other backpackers!!

It is a nice hostel, quiet in relation to others. I think there is a lack of common space after 12 o'clock at night. It is very clean and the staff committed. The receptionist is really kind and attentive.

Very nice hostel! Clean, not too noisy (people need to be quiet after 12pm), hot shower and free breakfast. Staff is very friendly as well! 10 out of 10!

I can absolutely Not complain about this accomondation! They offered breakfast, washing facilities, more ore less clean bathrooms, Free Internet Access and a very neat Swimmingpool plus an comfortable Outdoor area! Bright offering compared to the Small prices.

Cheap and good hostel, MASSIVE garden to hang out in. Really cool people around. Rooms and bathrooms clean, Big kitchen. Cannot fault it. Also big BBQ on a Thursday for $2 which is one of the best nights in cairns.

It's a pretty chilled out place. Not many people here, the beds are comfy and it is a hell of a deal. I spent less than 100$ a week. I never slept cheaper but I did sleep worse. There are no lockers here but besides that 5/5

Reef Backpackers was an amazing experience! The place is perfectly located close to town. The people it attracts are very laid back and fun! The atmosphere was perfect for going out if you wanted to or having a night in. I would highly recommend staying here!

Will keep coming back to this hostel! They've got a big new movie room and xbox upstairs. Internet's fast, staff are nice, kitchen is big and has ovens! Good vibe, cool place to be

I really like this hostel, its probably my second favorite hostel at all! The people are amazing, everybody can trust everybody. People leave their playstations and sound systems outside so that everyone can use it. its really a family.
and the pool! omg i love the pool! its the coldest pool you can find in cairns i guess and its really big and beautiful! surrounded by rocks and palm trees.
and the best is, its a kind of a party hostel full with longtermers :)

Staff was friendly and helpful. Chill and laid back atmosphere. Rooms are affordable and the location was very central and perfect for walking to the esplanade and all around Cairns. All around enjoyable.

Great hostel! Really clean and staff is very friendly and helpful :) there is free breakfast in the morning. And the rooms and specially the bathroom are super clean 👍🏼

One of the best hostel I've been in my stay in Australia, comfortable, cozy, the people who work in the hostel always attentive to the needs of guests, the common spaces are spacious and the rooms are great for rest, if you have that recommend a hostel this would be one of them, thanks for the good vibes!

We just checked in for a few days and ended up staying for almost a month. Its a small friendly hostel with a good relaxed vibe! Thankyou Reef backpackers for lots of fun memories, we will be back!

One of the best hostels I stayed in...Very chilled atmosphere, nice people, really clean modern interiour, lots of space, big kitchen...a place to be when travelling/ working...Really recomending!
