Palm Royale Cairns

Enjoyed my stay here. The pool was definitely the highlight, there are a couple of different pools to pick from. Also, housekeeping staff did a great job, making up our room every day. Room was a decent size. Front desk staff were very helpful too.
Only hesitations: area felt a bit unsafe - people were standing in crowds asking for money etc outside the hotel and there were a few dodgy sorts at the mall next door (I wouldn’t park my car outside or travel here as a solo female), not close to many food options at dinner time - there’s really only Red Rooster or Uber eats (expensive).
Would stay here again though

We really enjoyed our stay. The room was comfortable and the pools were great. The location was also good as we had a car to get into the city centre when we wanted to.

Rooms were more than adequate for two adults and two children.
Easy access to lagoon style pool and waterfall spa.
Only a mini fridge and bare necessities were supplied, a small or modest kitchenette would be advantageous.

Overall a great place for a stay with the family if you're in Cairns.

We travelled from the bottom of Qld to Port Douglas for a wedding and spent the last few days in Cairns, the facilities at this venue far outweighed the former.

Kids said wifi wasn't the best, but I didn't care.

Toilet seat broke and as there was no maintenance on a Sunday we were offered another room, the offered room was on the third floor, we wouldve had to go down two flights of stairs and around the outside of the venue and through reception to access and leave the pool area. So we stayed in the room with almost instant access to the pool and suffered the broken toilet.

It's one of the best hotels in Cairns. Raintrees Shopping Center is just right across the road. Perfect location, staffs are friendly and helpful. The pool is amazing it right in the middle.

Very nice place just out of town to stay at with daintree mountains behind. Close to shops, public transport. Reception staff-especially Mark are all very poilte and friendly. Love how the rooms get fresh towels and toilet paper if needed daily, not many places do this. To relax by the pool with cascading waterfall from the spa is very relaxing. Will book again and highly recommend.

Stayed for just one night. Nice spacious rooms with good facilities. A beautiful pool and garden area which was sheltered and quiet. The beach sand and palms were a nice touch.

Room was clean, quiet, central and cheap. I parked on the street without any issues although I wouldn't have gone for a stroll after dark. Internet was fine, bed was comfortable and shower was hot and had awesome pressure. No complaints. Will stay again.

Really nice rooms, comfy bed, very very clean. Loved you could walk out of your room sliding door straight to the pool. The pool is beautiful. For the price, we will definately stay here. Thank you so much guys

This is our first hotel in Australia since we arrived. Booked before we left so we had only the reviews to go by. We made the correct decision. Situated a 15 minute drive from Cairns Airport, we made it easily even in the dark.. Luckily we parked in the car park . The receptionist David was a quietly spoken man, with a pleasant ease manner. Reception had plenty of information to read and a small shop area.
The hotel is surrounded by metal gates and a fence and is all accessed with your room key . The gardens are well layed out and the patio area very clean , and there are lounge chairs available. Thete are two pools , s lap pool and splash pool , with a covered sandy area fir the children . There isn't a buffet breakfast offered since Covid , which is s shame. However there are still photos on the site. The rooms are very nice , clean airy and big enough to spread out in. Bathroom also. Towels provided and changed regularly. WiFi etc and and importantly for us a large balcony . Tea and coffee making too . There is also a safe which was free to use . Our room overlooked the pool , which suited us but obviously not all rooms did so . Be careful of course , the pool brings some noise when the kids get in . As it is a little out of town , a car would be appropriate but we liked that as it is quieter and there are some facilities nearby but not tall walking distance. A few fast food places only. All in all a very good start to our holiday. I would recommend it .

All staff are super friendly and welcoming, the hotel is central to all locations, the rooms are a delight, the views from your room are stunning, a tropical oasis. My whole experience at this hotel was simply amazing, will certainly look forward to staying here again if and when I go to Cairns. I highly recommend 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Stayed here at least 3-4 times in a span of 1-2 weeks and after the first time staying here, we came back again and again and even referred family here because of how decently priced it was for the quality of rooms and service we received. Staff are also super friendly and very easy to get along with therefore making check in and out so smooth.

Rooms are spacious and clean. Pool is super convenient to enter through G floor rooms as each has its own private back entrance. Location is also quite convenient with two shopping centres both within walking distance.

My family and I have decided that Palm Royale or Royals as we call it, will be our go to place to stay when visiting Cairns.

Everything was awesome from the start. We were greeted initially and cared for during our whole stay by super friendly and lovely staff. The pool and establishment were all very clean and in great condition. The price of the stay was very affordable. We had 4 people in one room and it was very spacious and surrounds relaxing and peaceful. Can highly recommend this place to anyone planning a trip whether single/couples or families. Excellent value for money. Especially for long stays. The reception was so hospitable and friendly. The rooms are presentable and cleaned everyday. Not many hotels cater this service especially if you are there for more than 3 days that we have been too. Easy access to shops , city, wharf, and malls. The surroundings of the pools and spa was amazing. It felt like we were in the islands. Thankyou and will definitely be back again.

this hotel is an old gem with 2 pools, daily room services. spacious room, fan and AC. bit far from the city, but just across a shopping mall. we didn't mind staying far from the city.

We really like this hotel. We called the reception directly around 7pm and we received the rate better than on any other booking websites. The receptionist was very polite. We could go and see two rooms before we decided to get the bigger one for our stay. The hotel was quite empty during our stay and we almost felt like we were having the big swimming pool to ourselves. The hotel has got two beautiful swimming pools and all rooms are facing the swimming pools. From our room we could hear the noise coming from the main road as our room was next to it. This hotel is close to the small shopping area and about 10 minutes drive to the city centre. We would like to stay there again.

All rooms are large. Clean and have balconies overlooking swimming pools with palm trees and birds singing. 🐦 such an ideal hotel. Loved my stay ❤
