Our waitress was very professional, attentive, knowledgable and quickly maintained a fun rapport throughout our dining experience.

CAN I JUST SAY I DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHY SOME REVIEWS MENTION THE PRICES!!!! THE PRICES AREA NOT HIDDEN. IT IS VERY CLEAR HOW MUCH EACH DISH AND DRINK COSTS !!!!!

The atmosphere, the experienced considerate waitress, the PIER location and watching the sunset is WELL WORTH THE PRICES !!!!!!!!!!!!

I would imagine it goes without saying THE BAR AREA IS GORGEOUS !!

I have been here a couple of times now and whether full of customers or not; our waitress provided exceptional service.

Awesome Australian twist on Mexican food! Delicious and fresh! The prawns were incredibly flavoursome! I'm glad I had them with my entree and mains! The staff were friendly and attentive and the overall vibe of the place was lovely. I ordered a few cocktails as well and they were mind blowing to say the least! Best cocktails in Cairns! The After Dinner Mint was my favourite 10/10 would come back!

Had such a lovely family experience, we are the delicious tacos, kids loved them along with the corn chips. It was lovely to have something different - staff were great. Highly recommend

Popped in to habeneros a few weeks ago while travelling for work. Had the coral trout and was great.

Love this place!

Enjoyed the chips and guacamole, which was some of the best I've had outside of Texas. Also enjoyed the white fish in banana leaf with mango salsa. Perfectly cooked and flavoured.

Slow service but three course lunch was very good value. Big serves and plenty of flavour. Jalapeno poppers highly recommended.

Not worth at all

We usually look at reviews before we go to any restaurant but for once we did the mistake of just randomly walking in to Habaneros. Absolutely a rip off . We had a half a corn on cob for entre ($8) , a prawn taco ($10) , A prawn pasta and a fish wrapped in banana leaf . The prawn taco was alright , the pasta was quite nice but such a small potion for $34! The biggest disappointment was the fish which was $32 Came with some inedible paste like thing which was so salty and inedible and a sweet salsa. The potion was tiny too. Just the fish it self was ok but for $32 you expect much more .
My mistake for not reading the reviews before going in .
Do not recommend at all.

I would love to rate this place higher. Staff are great, but not so much the food. I had Fajitas but it tasted a bit like stew. No char on the food, and so much sauce everything on the sizzling plate tasted like the sauce and nothing else. My partner ordered the crab enchilada, but it wasn't an enchilada at all, instead a crab salad wrap.
