Miss Chief Bar & Eatery

I chose to have my 31st dinner here after hearing so many amazing reviews and omg, the food is incredible! I can see why so many people rate this place! The Korean Fried Cauliflower & the Pakoras were my absolute favourite out of all the dishes we tried. I can’t wait to go again!

Absolutely amazing!
My partner and I were visiting from Melbourne and we were super impressed by the food, drinks and service.
On the day we visited, they had a DJ, it was beautiful and sunny.. The best vibes! a place you can very easily spend lots of time relaxing and having a few beautiful cocktails!

Just a great night - on a Monday when most restaurants are closed - great service, excellent food and seriously good drinks - well done.

Amazing gem in Cairns! Food, location, decoration everything is perfect 🤩 we enjoy share plates with our kids while they enjoy of the swings chairs, cocktails were nice, the food was delicious. We hardly recommended to try this place you will not regret amazing asían taste and best atmosphere! Well done 👍

We've had the pleasure of dining at Miss Chief about 6 times now. They specialise in small plates, allowing your table to sample most of their menu in one sitting and the food is ALWAYS en pointe. Be prepared to catch an uber home - you won't be able to stop at just one of their carefully crafted cocktail masterpieces. Our daughter enjoys coming with us too as they also have an extensive mocktail menu for her to enjoy with just as much love out into them as into the food and cocktails. There is a gentleman waiter (I can't remember his name) who's service always makes our visit just that little more special. I highly recommend anytime and everytime.

Loved it!

We got the calamari, pork dumplings, slow cooked pork belly and the satay chicken bao and everything was a 10/10.

Food came out super fast, gorgeous presentation and so delicious.

Service was great, regular check ins from multiple waiters.

The slow cooked pork belly took the cake for me, mouthwatering. My partners fave was the bao.

Also got the lemony snicket cocktail which was delicious also.

UPDATE: A year later, this place is INSANELY AMAZING!!! 😍

Went on a date with hubby last night & this place still holds a cool & fab vibe. Customer service is always impeccable!

Not sure why there's more people at Maccas, Hungry Jacks & KFC drive thrus!? 🤔🤷🏽‍♀ They all should be at Miss Chief Bar & Eatery! 💯

We had the Atlantic Salmon Sashimi, Pork Belly Bao, Crispy Lamb Ribs & Lasagne Springrolls which was the absolute bomb!!

I can guarantee that nowhere else in Cairns has the best Pork Belly & Lamb Ribs! Trust me! I've tried them all & wasted lots of money on dry & overpriced food around here!

If you've driven passed this place many times & wondered if the food is great or not, just pop in & order some Pork Belly & Lamb Ribs! You will not regret it!!!

Been there several times with friends and family and we all loved the grazing style dinning, share plates. Delicious food, cocktails andgreat atmosphere.
Also love the deco and the outdoor verandah! One of my favourite place thanks!

We came here on holiday after walking past and noticing the balcony view. Ross served us tonight and was an amazing server who got us a table on the balcony even though we didn’t have a booking. He was prompt to serve us and was very friendly and enthusiastic. The food was amazing and we loved being on the balcony. Thankyou so much!!

We first heard about Miss Chief through well known Cairns food blogger, Food Vixen. Her recommendation was spot on! We sampled almost all of the vegetarian 'Gathered' offerings on the menu. The mushroom and walnut pate and the Korean fried cauliflower bites were voted stand out plates but the tofu bites came very close! Relaxed and happy evening had by all.

Went out for my friend BD party. All the food were awesome and tasty! Delicious Cocktail 🍹 . will be back for a nice dinner again. 🙌🏻

Been there for a celebration, from someone In the industry I reckon unbelievable what the chefs can do with such a small kitchen. Cocktails are very good and service is friendly.

I personally recommend it.

Had an awesome dinner here on 9/4/24 - called to get a booking late and was able to get in. It was relatively quiet (was a Wednesday pre-peak season) however was very stoked to be welcomed in last minute and had a great experience. This is why:

- Excelllent and attentive staff!

- Menu

- vibes !! (Recommend trying to book a booth inside if you can though)

- Delicious cocktails (recommend coconut/chilli marg)

- Good price price point (IMO compared to place we were night before)

Appreciated the follow-up of our Reciept - required for tax purposes as was there for work meeting. Was very happy to be able to call and have this forwarded through with ease.

Get a balcony spot at dusk, you won’t regret it. I had the pork belly baos, the KFC cauliflower, and the asian greens. All amazingly tasty. Friendly and helpful staff too

This is my go to place in Cairns for food and drinks! The food and drinks are incredibly unique and amazing. My favourites are the Spicy Fried KFC style cauliflower and Whatthemelon cocktail! Great atmosphere and location in town and above the Spence and Lake St intersection which is great for people watching. Make a reservation in advance to keep from disappointment in case they are hosting a party or event.

Always a wonderful experience.

Excellent share menu in a lovely setting!
We had a business dinner here and the staff were excellent, the food delicious and interesting with plenty of different options to accommodate vego/vegan and other dietary requirements.
Would definitely recommend!
