Pop in for lunch a few times a month.
Great service and delicious food. And $18 to $20 lunch specials can't go wrong.

A good lunch here. Their full menu is available if you ask for it but they default to a lunch menu, about 12 choices, mostly priced at $18 but some at $20-22. The lunch items come with sweet corn soup, rice and another side dish (which was sweet potato with a glaze).

I chose the BBQ pork & roast duck (shown below) which was quite enjoyable.

There doesn't seem to be much parking -- it's on-street with just a few outside the restaurant and some on the other side of the road.

There are a few enjoyable, quirky features like the salt & pepper holders shown in other reviewer's photos and the floor mosaic just after the entrance.

Overall this was an enjoyable place to have lunch.

It is one of the best Chinese food I have ever tried so far. I highly recommend this place. Everything tasted delicious. I had my birthday lunch there with my family and I was really satisfied. Their prawn crackers are so good.

Went there for lunch and we ordered the set lunch specials. We were first served with the sweet cream corn soup before our main. I had the stir-fried beef flat noodles and my partner had the deep fried calamari with fried rice. We’re very happy with our food, really yummy! Friendly staffs and very reasonable prices. Definitely will come back.

Ordered takeout whilst visiting Cairns, food was prime. Received everything we ordered plus complimentary prawn crackers and a branded reusable carry bag. Would definitely order again!

The dining experience was wonderful down to the small details between meals and the service phenomenal, such lovely staff from the moment we entered the front door to the moment we sat down, was served and paid. Our Masonic Order held their Installation banquet once again at Jade Chinese Restaurant on Friday evening. Twenty of us experienced great food and drink plus excellent service. Highly recommended and we will be back again.

Love this place. If you love Chinese food, well, look no further. These people know how to cook. Also I can't leave a review without a mention about their fried rice. I'm a big fan of Chinese fried rice. Not all places do it well. This place, oh they do the best fried rice I've ever tasted and I've been around a while and been to many different places. I won't go anywhere else if it's fried rice I'm after.

On holiday from Perth...loved the freshly made birds best, was delicious....the tom yum soup was super packed with flavour too.

Could not fault the food or service. Good price too. The battered sweet and sour was crispy. The fish was cooked perfectly. The gentleman that served us was so friendly. We will be going there again.

This place really surprised me.
It doesn't look much from the road, but the food is fantastic.
It is like going to your Chinese nanas place for lunch.
You get spoilt and fed really well.
I am still smiling from the experience.
I have to say, we went for the lunch special and it was a Saturday.
Chicken and corn soup, dumplings, lemon chicken and egg fried rice all for less than $20. BRILLIANT!!!
