The guy at the entrance is the best. I remember him from 4 years ago and he still has the same vibe today. What a great and contagious positivity! Love it. Generally speaking, Kmart has a great variety of items and mostly of good quality for pretty cheap prices. Would definitely recommend if you look for something to furnish your house. Fashion is slightly worse, both in terms of quality and style, but very convenient if you look for work or gym clothing!

I accidentally left 3 potplant stands at the counter after purchasing a trolley full of items.It wasn't till 3 days later I realised I had left the stands behind,luckily I had kept the receipt.Returning to the store found the customer service person and explained the situation and that I did have a young man checkout these items.She pointed out the same young man his name is Oscar and he remembered me and had put the pot stands aside.So thankyou Cairns kmart staff for providing very good customer service ,thankyou Oscar for remembering me.Please keep the checkout staff they have an important role.

Please give Travis a pay rise! Best greeting every time. Goes out of his way to make customers happy.

The friendly giant on the door that had spiders in his beard for Halloween is the best! I've seen him working here a few times before and he always makes me feel so welcome, even if I don't end up buying anything. Such a champ!

Wednesday 7th Jan 2023 go to this shop, so used to Smithfield, for the life of me could not find the Stationery Section hahaha, asked this lovely young man Leo, who with a smile lead me to the section. Returned Thursday to pick up my photos, and yes I did a Britney Spears "Oops I did it again" lol and you wouldn't believe who I come across after walking the circle, Leo, who recognised me, both had a laugh and again walked me to the correct area AGAIN. This young man has the patience and excellent customer service, so please convey my appreciation on his wonderful help he is an asset to this company. Also the lovely lady at the returns/photo counter Mikaela, big thank you for fixing my photo without hesitation another asset to this company. Awesome customer service 10/10.

Bought the display item. The staff assisted and stayed with me. Accompanied me towards Check out. I had an overflowing trolley. Good looking too. Smiles great. Kmart. Smart move to hire this young guy.

Tall bloke who never ceases to make not only us but every customer feel welcome when entering store or leaving. Great customer service. Inexpensive store if you are on a tight budget and have basically everything need,neat and tidy. Normally shop there if we are doing some last minute pick ups and Kmart's come such a long way, quality of products are getting better👍

Great customer service today as we walked into the store we were greated by Travis, he was really friendly and bubbly. He made us feel really welcome and on our exit through the registers we saw the way he interacted with customers and it brought a big smile to our face. Its good to see a worker who seems genuinely happy and that makes hes customers smile.
