Hervey Bay Dayman General Store

We stopped here to grab some food not realising that it will be the best experience during our short holiday at Hervey Bay. We thought it’s some kind of grocery store/cafe so was surprised with lovely inviting ambiance. Although we came almost at closing time we were greeted with a big smile and welcomed to order food and drinks. Both salad dishes were delicious, coffee great and we would not be able to fit more than 5 big churros we got on our plate. Definitely one of the must visit places. Compliments to team and owner of this place

Wonderful place. Very pet friendly. Very generous meal sizes and well priced. Highly recommended. My friend said the best Belgium waffle she has ever had.

OMG that was the best breakfast I have ever had. Pity there's only 5 stars. They deserve a lot more. I had the low carb French Toast and my wife had the Mushrooms on Tumeric Sourdough. Yum, Yum, Yum. Generous serves with heaps of flavour. The coffee was exceptional as well. The restaurant was decorated well and there was a great vibe. If you are in the area drop in - you won't be disappointed.

I have a lot of great things to say...
1/ Decor is beautiful!
2/ Matt & Morgan were the two to serve me. Matt was very welcoming and just glowing of joy, humble and made me laugh. Morgan is very reassuring and excellent in customer service. I watched him run across the road to give a customer their coffee, which showed me they like to go that extra for their customers.
3/ HOMEMADE hollandaise sauce, was absolutely delicious! Eggs were oozing with perfection.
Highly recommended! Gladly will be going back.

Seriously the best French toast and pancakes I’ve had in a long time. The pancakes were very fluffy and house made. The French toast is very tasty and again in house made. My hot chocolate was very good and didn’t taste like ponder. My partner’s frappe was not over powered by chocolate like many places. Very tasty. Will def come back.

Had a lovely time over here. Vegan bowl gorgeous. Staff are friendly and helpful, requested to carry a cake to my friend as a secret surprise for her birthday. The staff did well, and even put a flower on top thankyou🥰

Have been traveling for six weeks through North Queensland and this is by far the best coffee and Egg's Benedict I have come across. Great staff and atmosphere, mostly locals judging by the customers.... thanks guys for the great meal and coffee.

Loved the almond latte (they don’t charge extra for different milk, which is a nice touch) and my husband thoroughly enjoyed the genuinely big, big breakfast. We thought it was the best place to eat in Hervey Bay. Friendly service, smiles and happy customers all around.

Delicious brunch spot off the Esplanade. The staff are super friendly, their food is delicious (they have great specials!), and they have a whole room of instagram-able decor!

Highly recommended this place. The service is fast and friendly and the meals are generous and amazing. I went there for lunch and just had to return to try their breakfast menu. It had a delicious holindase sauce on perfect poached eggs and loads of salmon. This is a great place to visit.

Absolutely amazing 🤩 fresh food. Mai Tai Buddha Bowl should be on your list to try. Huge Bahn Mi on Saturdays 👍🏽 also fabulous. Put this place on your radar for must try cafes in HB.

I think this might be the best breakfast I've had. The service, the food and the coffee were brilliant.

I'll be making a habit to visit here for breakfast whenever I can!

Without a doubt 5 stars every visit, from the friendly staff to the atmosphere and decor to the amazing food and definitely the best coffee in The Bay 👌

A beautiful little cafe, the food was fantastic and the service was great, the coffee was very great also and it is dog friendly which is always important to us. Next time we are in Hervey Bay we will drop in for breakfast again. I believe they are open for lunch and dinner also.
