The Courtyard Cairns | Esplanade

Great venue. The food was delicious, the cocktails were fantastic and the service was excellent. The music was good and not too loud whilst sitting outside so we were still able to talk to each other.
The Tacos were especially good and we will come back for Taco Tuesday.

Had the prawn salad and bean tacos. The prawns were perfectly cooked and the honey lime dressing is delicious. Yum!

Had the nachos, wings, quesadilla, fries, and carnitas tacos. Everything was amazing. Best meal we’ve had during our visit. Amazing and friendly service as well. Would definitely recommend!

Great little place on the esplanade. We'd arrived that day and didn't want much. A couple of drinks and a bite to eat. I had Pulled Pork tacos - great portion size and they tasted great. Live music was fab too.
Happily visit again.

Great atmosphere and service. Staff were so friendly. The wings were some of the best I’ve ever had! The only complaint would be that the tacos were a bit dry. Otherwise loved it! Highly recommend.

I had the fish tacos and buffalo chicken wings. Both were delicious, and the service was fast and friendly. Music was probably a little loud for conversation, but it's also a bar.

Fabulous atmosphere overlooking the amazing Cairns Esplanade. Late leisurely lunch. I had the market grilled fish of the day: cooked to fussy perfection. The service responsive & attentive. So rapt that we chose this place.

Amazing food and cocktails. The staff were lovely and very attentive. I had the fish of the day with chips, my husband had a burger both were amazing. Cocktails were delicious and so was the Princess milk shake.

SO YUMMY!!! the girl serving us at the bar was so nice and accomodating. food was so good and very reasonably priced, would recommend getting a knife and fork with your burger because i physically couldn’t not eat it it. 10/10 would go again

The veg tacos and veg quesadillas are good! And their fries are excellent.

The courtyard is definitely the place to go to have fun and enjoy the drinks and food. It is an ideal place to come with a group of friends and the staff are very lovely. The location is very good as well as it is near the esplanade and clubs are just around the corner!

The prepare awesome cocktails, they have an extensive range of beers, wines and spirits.
The atmosphere is nice.

Nice restaurant with plenty of seating arrangements. Delicious food but a little bit pricey. Kids menu is available.

Great atmosphere and even better food. Only downside was the ladies toilet...light not working and bathroom certainly needs a renovation

Good little restaurant for Dinner and drinks! Had the Tacos and chicken wings and the wings were some of the nicest I've had! Good atmosphere!

The staff is amazing. I randomly stopped to have a cocktail. I didn’t see anything on the regular drink menu, so I asked for something tropical and with rum. The main bartender overheard my request and said I will fix you up. A short time later my drink appeared and it was fabulous and and refreshing and served in a glass labeled with my favorite rum printed on the outside. I ordered another and departed afterward. I returned a few hours later wanting another. But the original creator had left for the day, and nobody could figure out what I had earlier. One of the bartenders overheard and said he would contact the original guy and get the recipe. It happened just like that I had my cocktail pleasure in front of me. Now that’s going the extra mile. And at regular drink price. Wow! Thank you bar staff at The Courtyard.

Great spot to chill with a cold beer, great selection of beer and friendly attentive staff. No complaints would happily come here again 👍🏼

Great restaurant along the Esplanade in Cairns. We had the Tuesday taco night special and the tacos we got were great. Staff were friendly and the cocktails were also nice.

Wow this place appeals not only to the teenage market but also to most generations.
We were passing this bar and decided to stop for a craft beer after walking around shopping. Best decision as my wife and I enjoyed a couple of "cool" drinks. She had a Pimms from the tap and absolutely loaded with fruit. I had a Blue Moon beer made from wheat not barley, brewed with coriander and served with a slice of orange.
After a couple of beers I ordered a chicken schnitzel. This was not the everyday chicken schnitzel as it was coated with Panko and pressure fried and was so succulent.
We were so impressed that we bought our teenage children back for for dinner and another great foody experience.
There is also a chilled "beer tower" for those who would like to enjoy more than one glass of their Craft beers.
