Pacific Hotel Cairns

The hotel generally acceptable but in good location. What's important, their staff is friendly and hopeful. Thanks Ingrid made great coordination and wonderful hospitality! We finally get room comfort and homie.

Had a smooth and extremely quick check-in experience with Pacific Hotel. The service was great while managing multiple customers at a time.
The executive room was comfortable with a large bathroom.

Nice facility, great staff, very good breakfast included, inexpensive laundry machines on-site. Rooms are nice, comfy bed, modern facility.

Good good good. Very clean and fresh rooms. Not feeling humidity from inside the room despite very hot and humid outside. Aircon working very well. There’s laundry near the room, $6 per wash, could have change from reception. The Brazilian bbq was ok, and has discount for hotel guests.

This hotel has everything you need! I spent a night here recently on a work trip and honestly cannot fault it. The location is fantastic. You are a 30 second walk from the reef fleet terminal. The staff were friendly and helpful and the rooms were exceptionally clean and very comfortable. I wouldn’t hesitate staying here again for work or pleasure.

Despite our late-night arrival, Jack, the waiter, displayed exceptional kindness, and the check-in process was efficiently handled. The hotel's central location proves to be highly advantageous, but it is worth mentioning that the lighting in the room was somewhat dim. Regrettably, the absence of toiletries was a minor inconvenience.

Fresh clean modern room. Reasonable price for the location. On-site parking available also.

Pacific Hotel was great. The room was spacious , the bed comfortable and the bathroom clean.
We were on the 7th floor overlooking the Casino with partial water views. The staff were fantastic, they went above and beyond to make our stay memorable for the right reasons.
I have already recommended this hotel to my friends.

When I think of Cairns I think of Pacific hotel because I know I would always book there. Such a great location, awesome hotel facilities, rooms are amazing and staff are so friendly even though they’re always busy they’re still so professional! Wonderful hotel must visit 🥳💯

The room was extremely spacious and had a great balcony area. Small aspects of the room could do with a touch up, but this was more than made up for by the excellent and accommodating service and brilliant location. I feel that this hotel has been unfairly ranked down due to being a quarantine hotel and so please ignore these as they do not reflect the quality of the hotel.

We stayed at the hotel few years back, when it was Pacific International. This time it was sort if a last minute booking, we got a room on the first floor. The room was a good size, clean, very comfy bed, not to mention the room service and the breakfast too. Staff were very friendly and very helpful. Overall we were very happy and would definitely return. Thank you all for making our stay very comfortable.

We were very well looked after during our stay. Our room was a newly refurbished room and the layout and size was amazing. The staff were very helpful in catering to our requests and the location is so convenient you're just a short walk from everything you could possibly need. We will definitely stay here again.

A well-situated and appointed hotel and we had a room with a partial sea view which was pleasant, but overlooking the adjacent nightclub bins (emptying the bottles at around 2am) which we could hear on the 9th floor!

Very comfortable bed  with extra fleece blankets if required and iron/board. We mentioned the lack of a basin plug and it was resolved immediately. Reception staff were helpful. Pleasant pool area, and breakfast plentiful.

The only point lost out of ten is that our bathroom was not cleaned properly every day ; floor not vacuumed or mopped , toilet not cleaned, which was surprising given the hotel's credentials. We liked the half height bath to get into the shower, but there doesn't seem to be a hot water temperature restrictor  so the water reached a scalding heat level. Towels were somewhat hit and miss over the 4 nights. Excellent toiletries.

Easy reach to eateries of all kinds and varying prices. 9/10

Lovely stay, the rooms are a little aged but very comfortable and we'll serviced. Would definitely stay again, it is close to all the eateries, the foreshore and the entertainment. The dining room is very satisfactory and both the breakfast and dinner menu are quite adequate.

I initially chose the pacific as it seemed like a nice place in a central part of Cairns. I chose an executive room as I wanted a view. The room I had been given was tidy, clean and comfortable. What I had not realised was that family had phoned ahead to advise them that it would be my birthday during my stay, so imagine my surprise at the complementary bottle of bubbly chilled and waiting for me in the fridge (which went down very nicely indeed). Staff are all courteous and helpful, nothing is too hard for them. Would definitely recommend.

Fantastic place to stay in Cairns. Professional friendly staff who are very informative, polite and help you with anything that you need. The location of the hotel is excellent being just around the corner from the main strip with views to the water and mountains. The rooms and ammenities are clean and tidy with everything you need. Will stay again in the future.

Had a great weekend in Cairns, the pacific was perfect for what we needed. Room was spacious, it was serviced every day and had a great view from the balcony. The staff were helpful and we had access to all we needed. Really short walk to the marina and bars. Would definitely stay again.
