Hervey Bay Boat Club

Great local club, popped in for the raffles on Thursday night and decided to go to the restaurant for dinner - the grilled salmon was perfectly cooked, the chicken snitty was moist and the mushroom sauce tasty and the kids carbonara was quickly inhaled by my 11 year old (be warned it contains a lot of garlic). I’m giving my 5 stars for the restaurant not the bistro which we ate at another night and was disappointed with gristly over cooked steak sandwiches and an average kids burger. Staff are friendly and the outdoor deck is awesome for afternoon drinks.

I’ve been to the boat club many times, but last night I went for a dinner party and I was impressed with que quality of my dish.
I ordered Grilled Prawn Salad, and it came in a very generous serving!!! It was absolutely delicious and my husband ordered the Garlic Prawn pizza and he was very happy with it!
The service was great, the staff is very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend!

We did the boat trip at 9.00 over to Fraser Island

Some great dining options, a lovely location, entertainment choices and friendly helpful staff

There’s a large off street parking area opposite the front door and some of the nearby streets can accommodate caravan and motorhome parking

The club has a kids room, wide verandas - overlooking the marina, a stage area for live entertainment and plenty of room between tables for good access

Pedestrians enter directly from street level, with no stairs or obstacles

The Hervey Bay Tourist Information Centre is nearby, making this a great one stop venue 👍

Just solid menu.
Think good RSL.. However the kitchen is very efficient and food is delicious and delivered hot. Lump rump is magnificent btw

An amzing menu highly recommend the coconut prawns and the calamari. Service from staff was great and if you join as a member you get a good discount. 👍

I had a cruise for Mother's Day. Whilst the weather wasn't the best, the cruise along fraser was beautiful. The Captain was knowledgeable and the staff were friendly. I would definitely recommend doing this, infact I can't wait til whale season ... we will be going!

We had dinner here last night. The vegetable moussaka and chicken with cashews stir fry were absolutely beautiful - tasty, hot and well presented. Service was excellent. Dinner starts at 6pm but recommend getting there at 5.45p as they get very busy. Bookings are not available. Highly recommend the cafe also for coffees.

Felt welcome from my first steps inside as I was greeted by the reception staff.
I went to the Bistro for lunch and the steak special was delicious. I then sat on the balcony afterwards and had a latte from the coffee shop.

We had lunch and we ordered beef lasagna and prawn salad. The food were tasty and on reasonable prices. Will definitely go back but will dry their dinner

Great experience.Food was delicious and generous serving. Friendly Staff at both reception area of the Club and at the Resto. It is our first time in Hervey Bay and the Club is just walking distance from where were staying ( Breakfree Sandy Strait) very convenient. And we enjoyed our dinner and we had fun with friends..Will surely come back next visit.

Food quality was spot on. The scallops mornay was yummy, yummy, yummy. I'd forgotten how delicious some of these old fashioned recipes can be. The food that was delivered to other tables, especially the fresh seafood, looked amazing. I'm guessing it's their turnover that allows them to deliver on quality, freshness and price.

Good friendly club . Went there for a Friday night dinner. Good atmosphere friendly staff.
Temperature checked on way in. Sign in if not member .(membership is $11 joining plus $15 per year- June to June or part thereof). Seems good discounts of food if you become a regular worth it for at least one of you .)
Had captains hot seafood selection and creamy seafood risotto. Good sized servings .$31-32 each .
Reasonable prices for a bottle of wine - $22 for a merlot.
Was treated to some great music after dinner snd was even able to get up and dance . Good vibe. Great vista .

Our dining experience was magnificent and the food was superb. Good variety and options to suit everyone. The service at the counter, bar and the host were impeccable. Looking forward to our next visit as soon as possible...

This has become our favourite happy place. Beautiful view/food/service/ great prices/ and always promotions happening. I have bought a 5 year membership and l don't even live in Hervey Bay!!! Hubby and l just love this boat club. We make a day of it with a movie as well !!.

Very busy hub. Food was delicious. I had lamb shanks, mash and veges. The lamb was fall off the bone awesomeness. Quite a lot of people here tonight which speaks to the places popularity. Will definitely visit again.

We dined here for dinner and would love to see the view of the harbour during the day. Great menu, reasonable prices and daily specials. Service was good, dining area was well set out and the food was delicious and very generous serves. We had a half serve of roast pork and veges which was huge and my husband had roast pork belly with mash and salad. The boat club also has a cinema as well as day cruises too.

Look forward to spending my Sundays here. Love the live music and the dancing in a relaxed atmosphere. There's a good selection of clean and tasty food. If you are lucky , you may receive an unexpected bonus and win some money.

The food here was very good. We had the the Ocean Chicken which was a butterflies chicken breat with seafood skewer and with either chips & salad or vege. The chicken was moist and the skewer had prawns, calamari and scallops and there were cooked perfectly. Staff were friendly and helpful. I also had a cocktail called Electric Shark and it was delicious.

Great place for a fun casual evening with friends or relaxing evening with family. Food is great and Staff are amazing. The Cinema is also great value. It’s awesome to have the choice of a matinee session and then stay for dinner and drinks or go early for dinner and drinks an stay for the evening movie.
The bands are fun and make you want to get up and dance.
