Acacia Court Hotel

We loved our stay at Acacia. Beautiful view of the ocean, friendly staff, walking distance from dining and night life. All of our excursions provided transportation to and from Acacia. Great running track along beach as well!

I have left a 5 start review in realation to what you pay for. This hotel is very accomodating and clean. The rooms are yes older but your only paying $70 a night. You have your own room + bathroom and nice bath products. Definitely worth what you pay for. Save the money for tours. Reception staff are nice people

The hotel has excellent rooms with either mountain views or beach front. Service is great . Rooms are clean. They do not have any microwaves .Bathroom has no separate shower only bath tub with shower mixer. Laundry was a little confusing.
Value for money and location

This hotel is excellent value for money. Its literally only a 5 minute walk from bus stop with easy access to town. Our room had 3 good beds, a TV and tea and coffee plus a fridge. The shower was so powerful. It was beautiful. At only $100 a night for 2 people in the budget room it's great value

Clean and comfortable basic hotel. Excellent value for the price and Great ocean view and right on the coast. Not a lot close by and close to the airport so jet engines all day, thankfully no night flights here. Some of the furniture is a bit sad but rooms are clean, tidy, functional and light.

We just had a 3 night stay here. The gentleman on reception was lovely and welcoming. The rooms are a little dated but I think that's reflected in the pricing, however still clean and comfortable. Great shower pressure, lovely ocean view. Breakfast that came with the room was great value the kitchen staff were extremely friendly and accommodating and food cooked to perfection. Hotel is in a great location, close enough to walk to the night markets and water park on the esplanade and far enough away that it's not loud and busy. 4/5 but the staff made it a 5/5.

Second time staying here shower head wasn't working properly but they replaced with a new on in couple of hours. Fairly clean and besides the 1am alarm from some moron smoking in the room very quiet

I recommend this hotel, it had everything you need for the price you wanted to pay, clean private bathroom, clean towels, clean sheets and a comfortable bed to rest. It is clearly an old hotel, it smells musty and the furniture in the room is ugly, and the curtains give it a somewhat scary look, but the hotel has good energy to rest. Staff service room very friendly, staff reception friendly also except ELIZABETH. I would like to add that they could have laundry service charged obviously since one is in tourist mode and arrives tired and without wanting to wash clothes. I would also like to add that you could extend the pool hours, since usually people arrive from the 6 pm tours and at that time you close the pool. In short, it was an excellent stay, we had a great time and an excellent plus to have the restaurant downstairs, since you can have breakfast and go out for a walk. Thanks for everything.

Excellent location with views to the ocean and to the rainforest, stayed in 2 different suites and the rooms are clean, modern and relaxing. Great friendly staff always welcoming and helpful. And the all you can eat breakfast buffet. Highly recommended.

I stayed here because I was arriving late in the afternoon and it was conveniently located a short drive from the airport. My intentions were only to stay a couple of nights and move onto another hotel. These plans changed with me staying the whole duration at the Acacia Court. I was impressed with the balcony that overlooked the water, the size of the room, and the bathroom. It was very comfortable and nicely located a short 10 minute walk from the cairns CBD. The all you can eat breakfast for $15.90 is great value and ate their every morning. I've stayed at other hotels in Cairns and paid double the price and wasn't as impressed. Acacia Court is great value if you can look past the dated appearance. Would stay again.

Very happy with our stay and we’d highly recommend to anyone wanting to stay in a super central, comfortable place run by amazing and friendly staff. We called and got a great deal on the phone. Breakfast each day was also tip top! Great value for money.

Didn't stay in the rooms, But we had dinner at the restaurant and it was very very nice,
Had the seafood buffet and the food was excellent and the service was very good.

Great buffet breakfast tku to Purita and the chef who looked after me for the week, good service, friendly, and always helpful.
Hotel was comfortable with awesome views.
Not far from city centre and opp esplanade which has a lot of activities..

Irrespective of the low star level ,i really question this when this hotel ticks all the boxes mostly.The buffet breakfast is extremely good and a bargain the staff are friendly and are helpful room is large.They attended everything we asked.The Chinese resturant beside the lobby has large discounts for Hotel guests and the food is very good indeed.

Rooms with panoramic ocean views, friendly staff

Close to the Airport for early morning flights, close to the city for late nights out. Easier than catching a cab home to Palm Cove. Book a room on the 8th or 9th floor if you can. The ocean views are amazing!!

Not happy it's not what they say. You can not cook in the appartment. Wifi don't work. So on and so on.
I gave it a high rating accidentally 😭

Gr8 place, reception staff very helpful. Rooms are good. Good location. Enjoyed very much.
