Yum Sing Restaurant Cairns

This is the 1# restaurant on our list! My boyfriend was not feeling well during our trip in Carins, he missed some traditional Chinese taste. I picked Yum Sing randomly. Absolutely loved it! We love the environment, feels so cozy and friendly; everyone seems so happy. The food is also very good and fresh. ❤

Dined for a family birthday with a group of 8, everyone absolutely loved the whole experience. Staff were very friendly, lovely and welcoming to our children, made excellent recommendations on dishes to suit all our tastes.

We ordered dumplings and gyoza for entree which were all plump and delicious, and a mixture of pork, chicken, seafood, rice and noodle dishes for shared mains - all were outstanding! Children and birthday boy all delighted by deep fried ice cream for dessert.

The atmosphere was busy and bustling with full tables most of the evening and plenty of good vibes from all patrons and staff. We didn't have to wait long for service and our meals arrived quickly after ordering.

We will definitely be back! A really great place for a wonderful meal in a relaxed and welcoming setting.

I stuck to the yum cha menu and was super impressed with the freshness and quality of the dim sum. The prawns were sweet, the pork ribs were gelatinous with no bones and all dishes served piping hot and with a smile. Really, really enjoyed my meal and it made for a perfect brunch in Cairns

Would highly recommend everything……but in particular the dumplings and pork buns are amazing with that great drizzle of chili oil!

Always satisfied and great prices. Very pleasant and comfy place. Highly recommend dim sums and sichuan beef or chicken.

One of the best for dumpling and hotpot. We had a seafood hotpot which we loved. Prawn and chive dumplings was the next favourite, easy parking is a bonus

A fantastic new Chinese restaurant with very tasty food! We tried prawn and coriander dumplings, yaki gyoza, chilli pepper prawn and beef hor fun. Everything was amazing! We especially loved the hor fun as the noodle texture was spot on. Staff are very friendly too. Can’t wait to return. They did exceptionally well for their first official opening day!

Thank you for a wonderful dining experience. This was honestly the best chinese we have ever had. Everything was fresh and full of flavour. We had prawn and shallot dumplings, szechuan pepper beef, garlic prawns and honey chicken. All cooked perfectly. Staff were very friendly and good at their job. Food came out quickly and the place was nice and clean. We definitely will be back and recommend to everyone. A+++

Authentic and excellent Chinese restaurant! Always our first choice in Cairns! Salt pepper tofu, sweet sour prawn, freshly made prawn and chives dumpling plus custard buns. Absolutely delicious! Drink list also amazing.

Delicious food, very kind hospitable staff, and nice dinner ambiance. My parents, partner and I walked in Thursday night without a booking, the staff were able to accommodate us and were hospitable. We had the honey chicken, chilli seafood fried rice, green onion pancakes, marinated cucumber, and combination fried noodles. Everything was very good and we would definitely recommend this great place! The photo shows the aftermath where we cleaned pretty much every single plate. Thank you for a nice kickoff meal for our holiday.

We had Prawn chives dumping, Chilli seafood fried rice and Sichuan pepper beef and all meals are so yummy and flavourful!
There're lots of seafoods in the fried rice.
Sichuan pepper beef was so tender. I'd like to havw this again!

Been there many times since they opened. Excellent food quality and always happy to see their friendly staffs. Suggest to make a booking in advance as they were pretty busy sometimes.

Had yum cha here several times and takeaway dinner too. Limited menu but Fresh dumplings. Would recommend. Good service and friendly.

Delicious food with excellent service in a clean, friendly atmosphere. The only downside is that I am visiting Cairns and won’t be able to come back again shortly for another meal.

Second visit in 7 days and the food and service was first rate. Next visit to Cairns we will definitely come back again.Thankyou
