The hostel is beautiful, very clean and organized. The receptionist was really nice and helpful, she showed us all the hostel and helped us a lot to choose a tour to the reef.
If you are sleeping in your van, take into account that you wont have access to the fridge of the hostel, but yes to the kitchen.

I had to lovely days in this Hostel. The Staff was friendly and helpful. Once our bathroom wasn't clean it was just a short notice giving to the reception and there was quick somebody coming to clean it. I love the system of having your own fridge locker and kitchen stuff, with that you can make sure that your plates, pans etc are clean, the kitchen is easier to keep clean and nobody is eating your food :) breakfast was enough and if you come at the right time you even get pancakes :) would definitely stay there again.

There are boxes inside the fridge so you can keep your food separated and locked. It is absolutely great cause I had bad experiences in other hostels when somebody can take your food. The sheets are clean and inmaculate. The bathrooms are clean and it is not a party hostel. I loved it. Plus the owner is amazing and very friendly. I decided to extend my time here and although they are busy, he helped me out giving good choices to stay in a very comfy room. I totally recommend GLOBETROTTERS INTERNATIONAL!!!!!

Amazing hostel to stay at! Everyone is super friendly and welcoming, definitely a really nice family vibe right when you check in. The hostel is SUPER clean, there’s free and good A/C, it has a pool and an area to sunbathe, lots of areas to lounge around, and a great atmosphere where you can either stay in, chill with everyone and relax, and get your sleep in since noise stays down after 10 pm OR you can go out with other guests if you feel like it! Best of both worlds!

Really good place. Fun and lively during the day, quiet at night when you need rest. Not a party house. Good for travelers that need longer stays.
Clean and organized. Staff is helpful and will accommodate you as best as possible.
Free breakfast everyday and BBQ 2 times a week. Awesome common area with TV and video game consoles!
Nice view and next to the Esplanade. All in all great spot - not far from downtown.
I recommend Globetrotters and would go back there myself whenever I'm traveling to Cairns.

This hostel is the most amazing hostel I’ve ever stayed in! The owners, staff and just people in general are helpful and always up for a conversation! Everything is clean and tidy. This hostel really makes you feel at home and if I didn’t have to, I would never leave!

It’s hands down the best hostel I’ve been to in a long time, what an awesome stay!! The staff, the location, the beds, the lobby/hangout spots. It had laundry on site, decent kitchen, price was awesome and showers were clean to! Helluva hostel! Definitely recommend.

One of the best hostel in Australia! I’ve been in 7 hostels across this country and this one is the best one. Everything is clean, quiet, the breakfast is included (toasts, pancakes, cereals, milk, coffee, tea...) and the wifi is fast. Like at home: very fast!! You can see Netflix and download files in the same time without issue. I recommend this hostel!

Really nice hostel. No bunk beds, all the beds in our room were singles. Clean, nice swimming pool area, a lot of activities! And nice staff, ready to help you make the best of your stay in Cairns!

Globetrotters International was a great stay. Really kind staff that smile and the people staying at the place were very welcoming. The rooms were clean upon arrival and the kitchen area as well as the outdoor facilities (pool/garden) were clean too. Definitely one of the best hostels in Cairns.

Globetrotters is the cleanest , most liveable hostel I’ve ever stayed in. It’s not a party hostel so if you need your sleep you get it; but it’s still very social. I stayed for a month ; no problem . I made so many friends staying here , and if I’m ever back in cairns I know I’ll book at globetrotters. The owners , Brian and Linda are extremely helpful. You can tell they work hard to make the place great.

Good clean rooms, stay was made really good by the guy helping plan my trip. I was due to be going on one on my last day in Cairns and after being left waiting by the tour group they phoned up to find out why, organised me onto a new trip and let me know what had happened on my return. Helped ensure my last day wasn't wasted and as it turned out, I'd avoided a landslide. So worked out very well!

Globetrotters is my favourite hostel so far.
It's more of a sharehouse feeling than a hostel.

The staff is always friendly and keeps a happy atmosphere around.

The fridges have locks so you don't have to worry about your food being stolen or moved around which is a relaxing detail.

The beds are very comfortable and wide with white and fresh sheets.

Internet is free 24/7 which is great.
BBQ nights and free breakfast every morning is a plus.

I really would recommend this hostel to anyone that wants a secure and fantasic place to stay.

Great Hostel with great amenities such as pool, kitchens and a lounge with good internet. Everything is clean and the size of the rooms are OK. No bunk beds in dorms which is good as well. Free breakfast included. Working for accommodation was possible for us

This hostel is maybe not direct in the CBD but you have awesome staff there.
You have a big lounge area inside and outside as well as an pool, a garden with grass, Netflix, a PlayStation and a WEE.

The hostel offers 2 big kitchen and 1 smaller kitchen and a 24hours reception.

Twice a week they offer in a nice bar/cluc/restaurant a dinner with BBQ or pizza, wedges and wings for free!

They have an awesome free unlimited WiFi and free breakfast dayli.

If you go to can and search for a nice hostel with great guests and awesome staff this is the place to be.

They also offer selling tours and work for accommodation.

I came to Globetrotters with the intentions of leaving the next day; 3 months later and I finally managed to say goodbye to this majestical palace of dreams.
Only a short walk away from Cairns central, Globetrotters is ideal for those wanting to stay somewhere short/long-term without the hassle of sleepless nights.
The company and staff are friendly, inviting and most of all, fun! From the moment I arrived I felt like part of the community.
The breakfast is amazing and the pancakes are insane, not to mention all the other free events the hostel organise!
There really is no question about it; Globetrotters International is the best hostel Cairns has to offer!

This was my favorite hostel in all of Australia. The rooms were fine but what made this place was the people: everyone here was so awesome. I have stayed in touch with more people from this hostel than any other I have stayed at.

Very clean and quiet hostel. Free breakfast (pancakes, toast and cereal) and free barbecue twice a week. Rooms and bathrooms cleaned daily. Personal fridge lockers. Small pool and a gaming station.
