Air Fraser Island

Take off and land on the beach during this Scenic Flight over Fraser Island with an actual uniformed pilot.

This was by far the highlight of my day trip tour of Fraser Island, it was unexpected, exciting and worth the 100 bucks in my opinion.

Our pilot Bailey and landing strip manager Jordan are a well-oiled machine, making sure that there is a clear runway for take-off and landing between the constant stream of 4WDs and buses that take to 75-mile beach of the island.

We did the Butterfly Lake and pinnacles 15-minute flight, there are other parts of the island you can trip over, and as I just bought in the area, I plan to do them all over the years!

Fantastic experience something we will never forget! We did not get any talking about the area and the pilot was pretty much silent the whole way! However the views were spectacular if you get the chance take the flight! Our flight was smooth and it was a beautiful day to take in the breathtaking scenery of K’gari island! Must do!

Exceptional price and service and such an amazing experience with the beach takeoff/landing. Viewing K'gari and surrounds from the air really added something extra to our trip.

40 minute scenic flight from Sunshine Coast Aisport. Landing on the beach on Fraser. Self drive around the island and fly back from the beach.
After a whole day driving we only needed to top up 11 litres of diesel.

Cool experience!

Landing and taking off from the beach was a first for me. Sadly the wrong season for whale spotting, but still great to see the island from above with some additional info during the flight.

The FraserExplorerTours seamlessly fits in since they drop you off where the planes take off and pick you up a bit further down the beach!

All in all a good one!

Did this flight as an add on to our Fraser Island bus tour. Jordan the pilot was an absolute legend. The scenery from the air was breathtaking and the take off and landing was awesome. Thoroughly recommend this 15 minute tour. Best 100 dollars I've spent in ages.

Asked for a car part to be delivered promptly for emergency on the island and the lady at the office was really helpful gave updates via txt and calls. Very good customer service

Our experience with Air Fraser was brilliant. Pam was incredibly helpful setting up the flight for us at short notice, and Christian and Troy made sure we got from the island to Hervey Bay despite the poor weather. Really reliable; great people; great service. Highly recommend

If you see these planes on the beach you gotta do the scenic flight. Have done every time I see them and never disappoints. You just wont believe Fraser from the Air and these guys do it so well.

Amazing customer service and so informative about the process.
Such a friendly welcoming clinic and the location & parking was so easy.

The pilots were layed back and relaxed, they didn't fly rocky at all. we got a good view of the Island coming in on both sides of the plane. Very friendly young man he even let someone seat at the front of the plane for a better view. You could see the horizon of the ocean. :)
