Commonwealth Bank Nerang Branch

The staff at this branch are fantastic.
I’m opening a new clinic in the area and walked into another branch and the staff had no idea what they needed to do for my business account.
Rene (I think this is her name) was exceptionally helpful and organised everything for me and followed up with a phone call when my account was ready as promised.
The bank manager is always nearby for the girls to consult with if needed,

Great business transaction.

I deposited cash in the after hours ATM and the machine malfunctioned and kept the cash with no record.
I rang CBA and waited on hold for 75 minutes, then was told this matter may be resolved in up to 21 days.

I visited this branch first thing the following day, and before I finished explaining what happened, the CBA team member explained she resolved that issue that morning and transferred the cash amount directly into my account.

Malfunctions happen and customer service could have offered better reassurance and empathy, but a reasonable remedy within the first trading hour of the following day shows that their polices and procedures are in favour of a great customer outcome.

Came in close to closing and they were happy to help and made everything very easy. Great service and the people were very friendly. Even wished me a happy birthday as I left

Just had to set up bank account for me & arrange power of attorney for my mother as she's going into a nursing home,could not have asked for better service and friendly staff throughout the 2 hours,many many thanks to ERICA,SALLY & EMMA(branch manager who set it all up last Friday) and WENDY (CommBank you have some good staff here,look after them)

I have a growing disdain for this bank and banks like it. ultimately this bank is a series of machines and staff that hang around directing you to said machines for all business. Perhaps because I have to deposit variable amounts of coin and notes I have to make two seperate deposits one for notes and one for coins; as the machine cannot handle both at the same time. Other banks or when dealing with a human this can be done as one transaction such as the Westpac just across from this CBA branch; but no human interaction seems to hard or they just direct you to the machines and make you feel like you don't know what you are doing. no it's because I understand the process I would rather a teller process my transaction.

The service is average but I signed up for a debit card and the lady I was talking to said that she had orders it and it will come in the mail in about a week so I waited a week, no card then the next week came, no card so I went back and said were is the card you said you ordered because a didn’t get it in the mail so it turns out it wasn’t order but eventually I got it but then recently I went to get my card upgraded to a different one but this time I went to the Robina commonwealth bank and the man said that he had orders it but of course he did not do it is now the third week and I still don’t have the card. This made me very angry so I thought I’d share it.

Terrible experience at this branch. Staff extremely rude and unprofessional. Came into branch to deposit coins and to withdraw some cash to exchange for more coins again (for the purposes of coin collecting) and the manager essentially made me feel like a criminal - was asking me why I was getting so many 50 cent coins out and whether it was for a business or not and then proceeded to call me 'buddy' in front of all the customers like she was speaking to a 5 year old. Unacceptable.

Horrible layout as the bank isn't a theatre. Staff can be as nice as they like but it doesn't change wait times to do a simple transaction or anything else . What was wrong with the lovely commonwealth bank Nerang use to have? The newer one doesn't cut it...

Commonwealth send my card to the wrong location then I try to go to the branch to get cardless cash so I can eat, and it does not work. Staff and branch really unhelpful waited 30 minutes in line to be served just for the staff to end up being distracted still helping other people, ended up having to leave as I'd spent my whole hour lunch break trying to access my money. thanks for making me starve Commonwealth by withholding my money

Found the nearest CBA from work to do work bankings, drove all the way there, walked around in circles at the shopping center, finally asked, not open anymore!! Still listed as open on Google.

The day I went in to do a quick deposit all of the deposit terminals except 1 were out of order. The 1 remaining one had 4 people standing in line. I was curtly informed there were no tellers who could assist. Not such good service.

just been in to cash a cheque.. 15 mins later, it's supposed to be an express branch... no express here!!!! It took 2branch staff to help 1 costumer..whilst customers wait, 2 branch staff standing around and can't help as only 1 staff member can work the "teller" WHAT A JOKE OF A BRANCH!!!! Save your time and go to Ashmore!

Commbank should be leading the way in divesting from funding/investment in dirty coal. Shame on Commbank for being the largest funder of fossil fuels in Australia in 2016. Please address this issue NOW!!
