An incredible experience!
We had a fantastic dolphin cruise, saw a mother with its calf and other dolphins, had a fantastic swim at the beach and a lot of fun on the very nice boat. I highly recommend going out with this great local crew! 10/10

This was a really beautiful Tour. Amazing Scenery, Dolphins, a refreshing swim on the Beach of Fraser Island. But what really made this tour special was the absolute best crew! The extra care they took to make sure everybody has the best experience possible was unequaled!
We also liked the food a lot. Some chilli and garlic bread on the cruise over, then a nice cup of coffee and cookies after our swim. And finally some fresh fruit for us to enjoy on the way back.

We did see 6 or 7 dolphins, jumping rays and some curlews as well.
I recommend this tour for all age groups and even families! 10/10

We had the most amazing day out on the bay just over a week ago with Peter, Cassie and crew. We loved the small boat with only 20 guests, and being right down on the water, close to the action. There was plenty of room to stretch out and relax. Cassie looked after everyone's needs with ease and the food and service were first class. Generous amounts of food and a very yummy lunch! Peter taught us so much about whales, and he really seemed to know how to find the most pods and have good timing with seeing lots of playing and breaching! I'm so glad we chose Blue Dolphin Marine Tours for our full day whale watching experience!

Our last day in Hervey Bay so we decided to take the Sunset Cruise.
So relaxing and comfortable cruising out on the front of the Blue Dolphin.
Plenty of Finger Food which was top quality, served with a smile and washed down with a few quiet drinks.

Loved it! The crew were so knowledgeable, we learnt a lot about the whales and their behaviour. We were lucky to see so many breaching quite close to the boat. Was an amazing experience. Plus, there were lots of snacks and lunch was excellent. It was worth being out for longer to spend more time with the whales. The best tour we’ve done in Australia!

Brilliant day on beautiful Hervey Bay with Peter @Blue Dolphin. So many whales - at one stage we had 9!!!! around us - beautiful and curious and lots of up close encounters. The whales don’t seem to understand the distance rules! One of my favourite days out ever. Fantastic vessel - spotlessly clean, great food, wonderful friendly service from Cass. Peter was incredibly knowledgeable and both Peter and Cass were just as excited as the guests when the whales were nearby. Look, there are lots of boats to choose from, but this was a simply amazing day on a smaller boat. Book with Blue Dolphin - you won’t regret it! Best day ever!

I can not express how absolutely magical ✨ this Tour is! Peter and the Crew take care of you from the moment you step onto the vessel! They were super accommodating for little ones (Miss 4 and Mr 5) Food and hospitality was fantastic...there are no shortages of snacks! AND THE WHALES! THE WHALES ARE MAJESTIC...and they seem to love the Blue Dolphin Crew cos boy did they put on a show 🫶 THE spyhopping around the boat...the slapping with their fins 🤩 GAHHH it was just brilliant! In my experience the BEST marine tour in QLD

Thank you to the Whole crew...including our amazing bus driver Jodie who picked us up at 730am and dropped us off at 5pm..Thanks to Peter for being the best Skipper and keeping us entertained and safe all day! And Cassie...All that food was amazingggggg and you make a mean cup of tea! We will be back next year!

the best! We first went on the whale watch in 2020 at the end of whale season and it was still incredible love the smaller crowd on boat and the friendly staff! We then decided to come back every year and were devastated 2021 when we went into lockdown and couldn’t come, but we went yesterday and once again it was amazing! Whales so close and great directions called out all around from the staff to make sure we were ready in the right spot to see the whales! The whales we saw were all cute and great and big guy touched the boat! Highly recommend even if it’s a long drive to Hervey Bay!

What a fabulous day out! We went on the full day whale watching tour. The small group is great, as it is very personal. The food is plentiful & delicious & the whales …. WOW! We were able to get really close, as the vessel is small compared to the other boats & being a sailing boat, we were quiet & didn’t spook the calves. They came right up to the boat & played around it. Pete’s knowledge is invaluable & he could predict when a breach was likely to happen. We had a fabulous day out on the water. Thx Pete & Carolina!

Had an awesome 4 hr trip with Peter & Jodie. It wasn't whale season and dolphins were not easily spotted on the day. But their experience and persistence paid off and managed to get my boy a close encounter with the dolphins! Thank you for your hard work and sharing the local knowledge with us.

The best boat trip we have ever had. We saw numerous dolphins, went for a swim near K’gari (Fraser Island) and walked along a beautiful sandy area. There weren’t many people on the boat which we really appreciated, it was very easy to move around to get a closer look at the dolphins. The staff couldn’t have been more accommodating. They pointed out exactly where to spot the dolphins and were very friendly. They also provided us with a selection of cakes and pastries, fruit and a choice of cold or hot drinks. Overall a very fun and relaxing experience, and great value for money!

Really informative and friendly, Pete, Cassie & Anika kept us well fed, watered and engaged in the excitement of our whale encounters. Particularly appreciated Pete’s respect for these sentient animals, manoeuvring the boat to where the whales came up to us for some playtime! Truly spectacular! Can’t wait to do it again!

Peter & Hayley gave us an amazing day. His local knowledge & experience was invaluable in creating a memorable experience. The catamaran was the perfect way to witness the majestic whales in the Hervey Bay region. We were fortunate enough to have a large female & male play around the boat for 2 hours. Wow, what a day. Thanks Peter & Hayley.

We did the sunset cruise tour with Peter and Jodie and had the best time! Very considerate, kept our glasses topped up and generally great value. For anyone not wanting to spend the money on actually going to Fraser Island this is a great alternative, would recommend to anyone.

Peter and Annika are amazing! What a great day on their beautiful catamaran! So mich space to move around and the whales where just amazing! Learned heaps about whales and seen sooo many, couldn't count 'em. Thanks so much

Our last holiday was great. It was such a valuable and happy time. Thank you for Blue Dolphin Marine Tour. Peter and staff,, were very kind to us and explained the information about whales to us in detail. The whales were quiet on the day we went, so we couldn't catch any big movements🥹. But we were lucky to see three humback whales and Minke whale playing together. I hope to see again🐳

We did the sunset cruise, beautiful well maintained boat. Staff were fantastic. We had a awesome time. Sunset and heaps of bat's flying across to Fraser Island.
Drinks were flowing all the time.

My partner and I went on the sunset 🌅 tour last night and absolutely LOVED every moment of it! The service, boat and cruising experience was one of the best tours we have ever done! This is the BEST in the area!
Good size boat and not over crowded.
The whales preferred to approach this boat more that others.
Was here on Sunday. Had the best time watching the whales swim up very close.
My Full day tour included food and complimentary drink. Definitely recommended!!
Would come back again
