I discovered Gods of the Sea recently and has not stopped going since. This place is a true hidden gem on the coast! 🤩💎💖
My family and I have always been a fan of the Fish House so when I learned that their head chef has moved here, we had no doubt about the food. The quality of the food is simply divine with some outstanding dishes like the pickled trout (my personal favourite)🐟
The staffs are friendly and accommodating which really make for a great experience!🥰

5 stars because their service was impeccable. We had the degustation and waited 45 minutes for our second dish to come out. We eventually raised this with the waiter as we were really hungry and wanted to give them feedback. When we were paying for our food, the waiter told us the bill was on them and they rarely receive negative feedback. My favourite dishes of the night were the grilled king prawns and the rangers valley wagyu striploin. Enjoyed the ambience and intimacy of the space. They will be moving to a bigger space in the near future though!.

Amazing experience at Gods of the sea. Really niche seafood restaurant with a professional staff. They are 100% 💕Australian products even with the beer or wines!!! My favourite is the toothfish ❤and the salmon- defiantly will go back and recommend it to friends and family!!!!!🌟🌟🌟

Very nice quiet restaurant with the view of the Marina. The food was AMAZING! All our entrees and mains were really good. I loved my kingfish while my husband really like his wagyu with sardine butter. Would recommend if you want your seafood cravings fixed. 😋

Wonderful experience with beautiful views, exquisitely made food, and a superb wine list. The place is stunning inside and out, the team take special care in ensuring you have a great time and all your needs are met. Will definitely be coming back!

Sardines amazing flavour and spices.
Prawns cooked to perfection.
Octopus so tasty.
Smoked salt with butter and olive oil and sourdough bread - never had something like that before and was amazing who knew bread could be so amazing.
You know what they always say only order seafood at a seafood restaurant. Well I had too much barramundi the night before so didn't want to order any fish for the mains and order a wagyu striploin. Woah it was so tender and amazing. The sardine butter definitely elevated a dish that didn't need elevating but elevated to the gods in heaven.

The menu comprises of all Australian food, wine and other drinks. Everything we tried was impeccable. 100% give this seafood restaurant a try you will not be disappointed.

This is truly our fav restaurant on the Gold Coast. Everything is sourced locally. The service is so personal. Wines are awesome. This is why we keep coming back.

Fantastic chef Jon, and staff very keen to ensure you enjoy your dining experience. Extensive wine list, with a focus on Australian. Wonderful for casual and special dining. Functions also available.

Incredible. I loved the ambiance & little details so so much. We tried a bit of everything from the menu at GOTS & loved every single dish & cocktail that came out.

The fact that they offer everything to satisfy a seafood lover; Rainbow trout, prawns, fresh oysters... But also a steak & a VEGAN main meal option -welcomes everyone to Gods Of The Sea - not just the seafood fans!
Vast wine selection & amazing quality cocktails just sum up the perfection.

Service was amazing, professional & attentive. Would rate 6/5 if i could. Try it out!!

Great atmosphere with magnificent view near harbour together with such friendly service from Warren and the team there 😊
Degustation selection on the day were divine 🥂🦪🍽 including Fresh oysters, Grilled Rainbow Trout, Proudly house made Linguine together with bed of flavourful broccolini 🥰 one of my favourite is Pan seared scallops with puree of caramelised onion & apple, sprinkle with charred leek & crispy prosciutto definitely a must try 😉 So delish!!!

If I can give them more than 5 stars, I would. The service is amazing. The atmosphere is one of the best. And lastly, the food is perfect.

This place offers a real high-level cuisine.

We went there for toothfish and scampi. Both were unavailable because the place menu varies due to the availability of the product. We were a bit disappointed at first and decided to order mains, but then changed our minds and also ordered entre and sides.

Everything was just fantastic. I was very skeptical about the fish schnitzel, but the dish was beyond my expectations. The schnitzel was made from was a golden snapper and the schnitzel itself was tender and juicy (sic!). Swordfish was also very juicy, not sure how it was made, it is naturally very dry fish. Also, the place has a very nice ambiance: soft light, good quiet music and perfect view.

The choice of wines was also perfect but unfortunately very few of them are served by glasses and a whole bottle was too much for us two.

We dined at Gods of the Sea for dinner recently and were blown away by the quality of the food. The rainbow trout is the best fish dish I've ever tried, and their hand cut chips were the perfect side dish. I can highly recommend the Nana's Pavlova cocktail and the passionfruit punch. The server was knowledgeable and attentive, and we were made to feel extremely welcome. I Can't wait to return.

Wonderful dinner experience in an interesting precinct. Very tasty cocktail and then all of us were wowed by our main meals. The rainbow trout was stunning, and Spanish mackerel wonderful. A good old fish and chips was great as well. Carrot cake dessert was a really nice take on carrot cake, as was the berries and cookies dessert. The service was excellent, attentive and friendly. Prices were on the higher side, as was the standard, so well worth it and not exorbitant.
