Lovely practice. The Doctors are both very caring and empathetic. Dr Hyasat and Dr O’Hara have had patients coming to them for years. The rooms are new and beautifully designed - clean and welcoming.

The nurse is amazing. The needle looked like it was for a horse and usually hurts like being kicked by a horse but has been absolutely painless both times the nurse has administered... if I could give 7 stars I would!
Updated for for appointment today for my latest horse sized injection - I no longer fear the needle. keep up the awesome work!

Went here because my normal doctor was completely booked. I went with Dr Gerard O’Hara and I thought he was pretty awesome. He was thorough with my appointment, asking good questions, asking consent before touching me and really looking into my issue. He seemed very genuine and like he honestly just wanted me to be better. I’ll definitely come back!

I have been a patient of Harbord Medical Centre for 25+ years. Wonderful service, Dr. Hyasat is a great doctor, the receptionist is very lovely and I cannot fault them at all in any way. Highly recommend.

Normally I don’t bother to leave reviews. However, this place is an exception to the rule👍 👍👍👍.
As a new patient I was made to feel really welcome right from my initial phone enquiry & the billing was also patiently explained along with some questions about colds & Covid. It’s obviously a new surgery &I was super impressed by how the receptionist also took the time to ensure that a Mum wth a toddler & a new Bub were given a quiet spot to sit, away from “us sick people”.
But most of all it was so refreshing to be in an atmosphere without feeling I might catch Covid or having people coughing & spluttering all around me. No jam packed tiny waiting room either. I’m a bit paranoid about that stuff.
Bravo to this place Staff & patients are asked to wear 😷. I didn’t mind being screened &when I asked why they did it - it made sense. She said We do It For all our patients & staff, Plus they only have one fab Dr.
I guess they call it self preservation. If the Dr gets sick, he can’t help anyone else. Probably that would mean they would have to temporarily close???Thanks for your old world values. You have won me over.

I have been visiting this practice quite sometimes, I had amazing experience with male doctors is good understanding very skillable for diagnosis. Thank you I highly recommended this practice to everyone, some times the nurse in the other's door she is not that good. But overall nice. Much appreciate your hard work.

I have been visiting this medical centre for approximately 10 years. Like the fact that appointments can be made and I’ve seldom been kept waiting more than 10 minutes. Dr Hyasat is an extremely patient and understanding doctor with excellent diagnostic skills. He works with me till he finds the root of the problem rather than trial and error with medication as is so often the case with some doctors.
There have been negative comments regarding the reception staff, I agree that there are times when a receptionist may appear a little brusque but they are under a lot of pressure trying their best to do a demanding job with constant interruptions. In reality, dealing with the public is not always easy.
I have no hesitation in recommending Dr Hyasat

He is an incredibly kind, helpful and thorough doctor who has always gone the extra mile in assisting me, whether it be following up on a previous visit, sending out alternate referrals and test results, and even squeezing me in when I’ve needed an appointment urgently over the years.
It’s always convenient, there’s rarely much of a wait and it’s not just quick and easy, it’s pleasant. I enjoy going and always leave with everything I need. I’ve been going here for 12+ years - even after moving to the Eastern suburbs - and over the years the service really has been exceptional. This is one place I will miss when I move interstate next year.

After spending years looking for a good GP, I have finally found one that is professional, empathetic and understanding. It’s rare to come across such a good GP like Dr Hyasat and I am happy I no longer have to look for one. The staff at Freshwater Family Medical Centre are warm and caring and I have always been greeted in the friendliest manner. I couldn’t recommend this practice highly enough.
