I had to replace a clock and Mae was ever so kind. Not only did she help me with the selection, she was able to source me one with a particular look. I shop regularly at her store as I only live close by and there is always a great selection of gifts. I love supporting my local businesses as they are few and far between these days and the Freshwater House Store is definitely the place to shop!

We’re in Freshie yearly. Freshie House is a regular stop for us and it adds to our experience and our daughter loves the store and the owner.

I’ve read some of the negative reviews, and I’m sure everyone feels valid for their opinion. I will like to add it’s not a store with wide aisles to accommodate a pram and definitely not the type of products that you want to have food and drink around prior to buying products and placing them on your home. When we still use a pram for our daughter, we left the pram outside the door and brought our daughter in separately. If your child is sleeping in your pram, just return later when they are awake. Also, don’t bring food and drink in. From what I can tell, almost all the bad reviews go away and your experiences will be more like ours. Have a great day and enjoy the sun 🌞

I love this shop! I was looking for cushions and this shop did not disappoint in that department. It has a huge array of gorgeous cushions, lots with feather inserts, for really reasonable prices. The shop is full of beautiful coastal homewares. I also picked up some merino wool drinks coasters. The owner is lovely, she helped me with styling tips and was very accommodating to my requests and questions. I will definitely be going back!

I had a lovely experience browsing this store in July before lockdown hit. It's a treasure trove of beautiful homewares and gifts. The owner was very pleasant, personable and helpful. I would love to know if there's a website for purchases or a click and collect type service whilst stores are closed in lockdown.
