Saltwater Bar and Dining

Fantastic service & food. I had the garlic bread, roast lamb & raspberry brûlée. Would give 10 stars if possible

Went 4 lunch with 4 friends,wide variety on the menu. all5 meals came out fairly quick, no complaints other than My sirloin steak was far from medium rare. It was grey!

Presentation of food and staff service was great. It also had a good atmosphere and view. Unfortunately the food was average. Kids calamari rings weren't actually calamari but more like soggy seafood sticks in a circular shape. Kids didn't eat it and after I tried it, I wouldn't either. Kids spaghetti bolognese was tasteless. Chili linguini with prawns was tasteless also and virtually no chili. The steak was good and the chicken burger was good but can't really go too wrong with these. Deserts were good, very tasty. For the price I would expect a higher level of flavour for the mains. It's very convenient when staying at Raffertys but not sure we would go again unless we knew there was a change of chef.

Extremely overpriced for very average quality food.

The fish was fresh and tasted good quality however the tartare sauce did not taste fresh or house made. $26 for an over dresser under portioned chicken salad and the sauce tasted out of a bottle as well. The kids menu. $13 for 5 chicken nuggets and some chips. Very underwhelming.

Before Covid, we used often to frequent the Al Lago (as it was formerly known). It was a favourite dining spot of ours, with its gorgeous serene views, delicious food, and excellent service.
As well as the a la carte menu, pizzas were also available. I’m not sure whether they are now.
However, it has apparently changed hands and a new, uninspiring, limited menu has replaced the one excellent one on offer previously.
When we dined there recently, we were extremely disappointed. My meal was so dry and tasteless that I didn’t eat it, so we won’t be returning until we hear that it has been much improved !

Wow read another review how different to my experience worst ever in my life for value. Could not believe the prices for what was served to me totally shocked..must have been paying for the view..

Extremely poor experience, really really bad food and very very expensive. Sad to see considering this place was very good in the past.
