You could spend a fortune here as the food is so good! The servings are very generous and absolutely delicious. The staff are friendly, welcoming and very efficient. We had a fantastic night. It was well worth the 50km drive. We will return again and again.

I really have no bad things to say about the place

Service is top notch, if you someone who prefers to just enjoy the atmosphere without being asked how is everything so far (me included) you may feel a type if way about it, but the staff speak in a friendly manner that is welcoming and are happy to help with anything. I was even surprised to see them tidy our table mid dinner.

The drinks (mostly cocktails) were absolutely delicious and the pricing matches the dining experience so even though they cost a bit more, they are still worth it.

Coming up to the food itself, BEWARE THE WAGYU MEATBALLS, THEY COME OUT BLOODY HOT!!
Pretty much everything we had was well made and presented and we walked out with full bellies.

The set up of the venue itself is well spaced out so you don't feel cramped in

The only may be the parking, during busy times, the small parking lot fills up quickly.

Great food! Great atmosphere! Lovely venue! Impeccable service.

The prices may seem steep but their entry dishes are very big. We didn't even order a main and had so much left overs.

Definitely book and visit if you are in the coast.

The food quality was high and every dish was worth trying. Beef pizza is a must-try, I loved it. They were so friendly and tried to help as much as they could. Don't be late for lunch, the kitchen closes at 3 p.m. Although we were a bit late but they did their best to handle the order.
We're definitely going back for more.

Had lunch here yesterday and I must say 8 At Trinity is one of the best restaurants I’ve eaten at for quite a while! 🤩

The design and interior of this place is amazing. The restaurant is almost like it’s separated into two. Closer to the entrance; modern and stylish. Closer to the outside; high ceilings that elevate the dining experience and see through blinds that allow you to enjoy the outside view and sea. 🌊

The food was absolutely delicious. 🤤 As an individual who is not that fond of seafood 🦞, 8 at Trinity’s seafood dishes were fantastic! The kids fish and chips 🐟 were great and the Seafood Platter, don’t get me started. The amount of food was huge! There were shrimp 🦐, battered fish 🐟 , calamari 🦑, lobster 🦞 , scallops, kingfish 🐠 and a side of fries🍟 ! Everything tasted amazing and unique in their own very ways yet complimented each other very nicely! 👍

The pizzas 🍕 are also a must try! And the drink menu is huge!! I mean over half the menu are drinks; cocktails, mocktails, wine! It’s not surprising they have such an extravagant and beautiful bar! We ordered a mango 🥭 smoothie and strawberry 🍓 daiquiri mocktail and were very pleased! 😄

The servers were professional yet amicable and definitely made a welcoming experience.

I would say everything here is perfect other than the fact that they are very busy and therefore the waiters seem like they’re in a rush and forget things from time to time. For example the receptionist promised us to be seated within 3 minutes which turned to almost 10 and how we asked for the blinds next to our table to be lifted which took many many requests until they finally did.

All in all, you can’t blame them for fantastic business 👩‍💼 and the food is definitely worth it for large groups or gatherings with their huge portions. Although a little expensive 💵, it’s definitely worth it for fresh ingredients and definitely recommended to visit and dine. Fantastic, 5 STARS ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐

This restaurant will blow you away. There service is nothing I’ve have experienced before. I went yesterday with my in-laws and husband to this restaurant not knowing anythin about it. Being 5 people we ordered 3 pizza for entree and they were delicious and super filling. We had some issues with our main where mine came late and my mother in laws was slightly burnt but this is where we didn’t need to say anything. The manager noticed on his own my food was late and apologised profusely and removed my meal off the bill. We were well compensated for our troubles. Well done to the managers who run this place and the training they provide there staff. There deserts are amazing also! We will be highly recommending this place to all our friends. You are superstars!

We were lucky enough to have a quieter lunch time service on a Thursday. We were looking forward to a knock out seafood meal and decided to order the premium tasting plate as a starter. Our waiter Thomas could answer all our questions regarding how many of each there were of the oysters, balmain bugs and tiger prawns. This information was helpful to know how to order our mains if at all. Thomas advised us that after finishing the tasting plate we were welcome to order after finishing it. This was a welcomed surprise as usually chefs can't cater in this way. A huge thank you to Thomas as he was very good at judging our needs, topping up glasses and keeping us informed on our meal progress. Very professional young man.
The platter looked stunning. Unfortunately it was 2 hits and 2 misses with flavour. Bugs and prawns had somehow been completely drained of any discernable flavour, zero taste for some reason but the kingfish ceviche, avocado mousse in yuzu dressing &avruga caviar was divine. Oysters dressed in pickled cucumber salmon caviar&Chardonnay were a definite win. Mains were ordered and did not disappoint. Potato &Stracciatella Gnocchi was delicate and full of flavour. Wagyu Rump, duck fat potato maxim, vinegar salt, green peppercorn, pickled Pearl onion all gave you a wonderful choice of which flavour to have with each bite. Wine list by the glass or bottle. New woodfire pizza oven has been added to the restaurant and if sitting outside you can watch the pizzas being cooked. A bit to warm to sit near on a hot day but will be cozy in winter. Can't wait to try it out.

Wow! This place is only temporary, until the REAL building is erected but it looks amazing! Top notch service, unmatched in the area. Super tasty and affordable food, unless you want to go big and spend up - which is possible but you will receive incredible food. The location is superb, the views are really nice. Definitely will return. Definitely recommend.

Unlike plenty of other places I feel it's true at 8 at Trinity.

We have been here many times over the years, and it's always very busy which goes to show they are doing something right. But the service and layout is such that you still manage to feel important and not lost in the crowd.

Today we just had an entree and pizza and pasta . Have to say the pizza and especially the pasta surpassed my expectations. Really good as usual !

First time and WILL NOT BE OUR LAST. We have booked and had to cancel a couple of times over the last 2 years and FINALLY got to try it today. WOW! What have we missed for the last 2 years? Food was incredible and we are very critical people when it comes to food. We had the scallops and sashimi for entree and the crab pasta and barramundi for main. Not a single thing to critique! Our wait people Andrea and Renee made my birthday special. Laughs and great service and personality. They have what so many people in their industry lack these days. See you all very soon. The experience in this restaurant is truly AMAZING! I’m blown away by the scrumptious food and the presentation, not to mention the excellent service that the waitstaff has provided us. The staff are friendly, and they are all SLAYING it! Will definitely be back and recommend it to my friends. Keep up the good work! 👍

Right from when we entered the venue the whole dining experience was spot on.
The food, probably as good as I have ever had.
And how good were all the staff. First class.
Definitely worth a visit 😎

Had a great dinner last night , started with the kingfish cerviche followed by good old fish and chips ( hand made twice cooked chips - lovely) and lovely Murray cod, Beef cheek ( which was lovely and tender served on a bed of mash with veggies) then had bread and butter pudding to finish, which was fantastic but I couldn’t finish as was full

Very few places exceed my expectation, and I’m delighted to say this is one of them. The place is stunning, service impeccable, and the food is outright amazing. The seafood platter is great, just the right size. I’m running out of superlatives. The scollops. The oysters. The ceviche. And then the cocktails. This place should be on the Michelin map. Drive, run, just come!

Great day here at 8 at Trinity. It’s busy which is it’s downfall because the service then becomes slow . Waited too long for drinks… we ended up having cocktails with dessert instead of coffee. But having said that the waiter was happy to cancel the drinks but the girls were happy with cocktails.
We got the seafood platter which was amazing. We thought the batter on the cod was too much and slightly greasy. I loved the lobster and crevice.
Dessert was amazing and we could have had one between 2… Im serious!!! They’re massive servings!!! Will come back if opportunity arises. We came up from Sydney so a bit of a drive

Worth hour and half drive to this beautiful serenity place. Had amazing experience of the food, cocktails and customer service. we wanted indoor seating which we did not get but the weather was so good that outdoor seating arrangement was amazing. Top notch food we got. Expensive but worth the money. 8 at Trinity had so many veg options that i did not expect travelling so far is definitely worth it. Kudos to Joe who served us and provided us good feedback on whats the best. Todd the manager was amazing as well. Had amazing time there.

Amazing atmosphere, service provided by David was impeccable, food was simple divine, location on point! The wonderful service and attention we received from David was just brilliant.
He was amazing and made it all the better experience. We had an amazing lunch for my partner’s birthday. Well worth the drive. Will definitely be back.couldn’t fault anything.

Food and staff were amazing- shout out to Griffin for such a cool persona and Marie for her diligence (we were sat near the cocktail bar and amazed at how hard everyone was working so please pay them more!) Rather pricey but still my fave restaurant and always worth driving from Sydney for it.

4.5 stars for service in reality. The ambiance of this place as well as the quality and presentation of its fare are worthy of a hat. I’ve enjoyed a couple of exceptional service experiences in my time so am a bit ruthless in this respect but don’t get me wrong, it’s very good as well. I’m looking forward to going back soon. It’s a bit of a drive from Newcastle but so is the Hunter Valley where it’s contemporaries are. I’d love to be able to get a water Taxi from Belmont or Speers Point. I hope you are delighted there soon.
