Nawa Thai Restaurant

Superb local eatery with great customer service. Highly recommend Roast Duck Plum, Tom Yum Fried Rice and Nawa Thai Special Fried Rice. The food came with an adequate portion and was really tasty. The restaurant is a bit small compared to its popularity, so expect a bit of a wait during the peak time.

Nawa Thai is a cosy restaurant opposite the RSL.
They are by far my favourite Thai Resturant in Merrylands.
The food not only smells amazing but is absolutely delicious and fairly priced for the portion sizes. If you have a bigger appetite you can add extra meat for a very small amount.
I am a weekly customer and can honestly say I have never had an order that I was disappointed by.

I cannot recommend this resturant enough, thanks for the wonderful food guys!

Best Thai in Sydney!!!
Foods always fresh, it’s clean, the staff are super friendly and a great atmosphere. Chef Tony is the best Thai chef, serving up delicious meals that will not disappoint. My favorite dishes are Yellow Curry, Green Curry, Laksa and the curry puffs are a must have. Do yourself a favor and check it out.

I bought a Pad ke Mao, chilli basil fried rice, green curry (all big container portions) 4 curry puffs, 4 spring rolls, 2 roti breads and they gave me a free 1.25ltr pepsi and prawn crackers all for the $55. Unbelievably great value for money and now to the taste, ohhhh my word. Ingredients tasted so fresh, like really fresh, easily the best spring rolls I've ever had, the pad ke mao was a darker colour exactly how I like it and not undercooked, chilli basil fried rice was so clean and fresh tasting and not drenched with oil like other places seriously I can go on forever. They've won me over can't fault anything at all. Customer service is exceptional I picked it up as take away and the best part is it's Halal. Thank you Nawa 5 stars !!!

Absolutely delicious food, and friendly service. It isn't licenced, but does allow BYO, so if you want a drink with your meal keep this in mind.

Best Thai in Merrylands. We went without any expectations but were pleasantly surprised. The food is delicious and the staff is very friendly. Will return for sure.

GINGER PRAWN (ENTREE) is a MUST!
Prawn wrapped in a thick, very crispy and crunchy outer layer.
Everything was tasty, reasonable prices, servings generous.
Red Curry, Tofu/Veggies in Greenpeppercorn/ Oyster/ Coconut Milk Sauce, Roti.
O noticed in the restaurant, they have been awarded 'Best Thai' by Menulog (or somewhere similar to Menulog.)

Update: May 2021
The online only 'special' of main meals plus free 'Pad Thai' is in my opinion would need improvement with the taste and texture. Perhaps some more flavour and less gooey/ glumpy texture would be the way.

We ordered here for the first time tonight and got the panang curry. Massman curry, Crab fried rice, pad see ew and curry puffs and I have to say it’s the nicest Thai I have had in a long time. Everything was fresh, flavourful and still hot when delivered. This will definitely be my go to Thai restaurant from now on

Highly recommend this place for a relatively cheap, flavourful meal with great service and good portions.

Ordered takeaway online. 4 dishes. Waited about 10 min which is incredibly quick. When picking up the food, the servers were really polite. They also gave us complimentary prawn crackers.

The food was good portioned and was well seasoned. We ordered a pad Thai chicken, pad see yew tofu and a couple other dishes.

Such a cosy place with great staff and a great menu.

Lovely Thai spot with consistently good food. We order from here often and have never been let down. They throw in a free bag of prawn chips with every order, bonus! We love the Pad Kee Mao as it packs a punch with spice. Every dish has always been excellent.

A very popular Thai restaurant at Merrylands. The food comes out quick. Food is very tasty. The lunch specials are comprehensive and very well priced! The space is abit small though so there may be a wait for the table during busy periods otherwise a recommended place to eat especially for lunch!

We love Nawa Thai.

Btw, I love the food as well. I prefer chicken but there are ample other meat options.
