Salwa's Garden Lebanese Restaurant

Went for lunch for the first time recently & I was blown away. The charming house turned restaurant features a beautiful interior & courtyard with plenty of spots. The food was incredible especially the Lamb Mansaf. Highly recommend

This is the best Lebanese food I have EVER had. The eggplant with lamb mince and rice is to die for! Melts in your mouth.
The food was really delicious and non-greasy. The dips and everything we had tasted fresh, matched by the cosiness of the cottage and beautiful tree-lined tables.
Will definitely make this a regular trip.

My wife and I have been wanting to come here for a while now and it did not disappoint!!! - Easily the best Lebanese food we've had in Sydney and the atmosphere is truly remarkable! - Highly recommend!!! - We had the banquet - it had a great selection of all the favourites and everything was excellent! What a gem! Just the nicest little cottage. Another great lunch at Salwa’s. The food, service and atmosphere are top notch. The Fatoush Salad is the best I’ve had. A great menu selection, and have not had a dish that I wouldn’t order again. For a family or friends outing, it’s possibly the best in the area. Well Done guys, we’ll be back soon

Beautiful dinner with friends at Salwa Garden! Thoroughly enjoyed their foods, everything tasted very fresh. Service was on point and the ambience was very nice and warm! Great space for outdoor patio and indoor private group dinner dining as well! Highly recommend!

Thanks for re-establishing your restaurant. Found it by chance on google when I had a craving for lebanese / middle eastern food yesterday. Food is excellent as I remembered, esp stuffed zucchini with lamb. Will definitely be back eventhough the distance to get there has increased tremendously..

Amazing flavors and the textures were out of this world. The food looked vibrant you could tell it was it was freshly prepared. Ian was welcoming from taking our order to having Mira seat us and serve us. I have to say it felt like I was at home growing up with mum. I look forward to returning to Sydney’s best Lebanese Restaurant.

The most loveliest meal ever - my partner and I got the banquet meal option so we could taste a bit of everything and it was just so delightful and so so yummy and well presented and full of an array of fresh ingredients! We will definitely come back and recommend this beautiful restaurant to friends/family :) beautiful service and sensational atmosphere

A great place for lunch or dinner! Food fresh and full of flavour. Service is a little slow during peak time but worth the wait and staff super friendly.

AMAZING EXPERIENCE! I loved everything about this place. Firstly the beautiful decor and the garden - OMG. Colourful, green, fresh and lush. The food was delicous and tasty. With BYO wine. The service was very friendly. It has a traditional and family vibe. The food honestly tastes home cooked with so much flavour oozing everywhere. Great for groups as well with a lot to choose from. Can't wait to take the whole family here. Highly recommend!

Simply spectacular. It's an old federation style home. The rooms are separate dining areas. You walk through the house, or you can from the front yard. There are tables throughout the front yard, sides and backyard. Beautifully planted throughout, it's like dining in your own private backyard, in that the plants are evident of someone with a green thumb. The mens toilet is the outhouse of old. You walk past outside dining tables, plus some private dining nooks for 4 people. And you walk past the kitchen window and can see the mums cooking the authentic Middle Eastern fare as if you were dining at their home.

We had mostly vegetarian with dips, salads, roasted eggplants and; mixed shwarma plate and chicken taouk. Vegetarian, rated by my vegetarian partner was superb. The shwarma a bit in the dry side but still very good.

The fairy style lighting, cool, mild nights and the quality of food will have me coming back here soon.

Prices are reasonable. Staff attentive, even on a full house Saturday night and the Khanefi (sp?) Warm out of the oven, was a delight.

A friend and I came here for lunch on a Sunday as I wanted to be outdoors and get some vitamin D. We got a lovely sunny spot out front. It was quiet and peaceful, we could always hear ourselves and each other and the food was very good and the service attentive without being disruptive. I’ll definitely be back. The dogs at the next table was also a plus - cute eye candy.

Loved Salwas so much. Cannot recommend the chicken shawarma and lambs dishes enough. Ian was such a lovely host, we loved every minute and were accommodated perfectly! Will be coming back soon 😍

As a person who has worked at Salwas in the past it’s safe to say that this is the best Lebanese cuisine you’ll get in Sydney (that’s reasonably priced ;))

When I think of authentic lebanese food I think of something my mum or tayta would make for me, undisputed origin google would say. Salwa takes authentic to the next level with the atmosphere matching the arabian nights and also the lebanese aunties working in the kitchen making your delicious food, people of the culture who know how to cook.

- The service is satisfactory. I feel as if there should have been at least 1 or 2 more people on the floor allowing for all customers whether being in the far back VIP section or the front of the building to be attended to. Having said that, it’s quite fast service and order to plate time is less than 10-15 minutes.
