Zimzala Cronulla

Squids cooked to perfection. We had the salmon, steak, chicken breast and all were well cooked dishes. The view of the beach at ground level was fantastic. On a hot day, the Alfresco is a perfect spot with the breeze, it was very cool. Bathrooms were clean too.

I came in for lunch at 2pm on Saturday 15th July, 2023. I met up with my new friend Karla from Peru. I'd have had a fairly challenging year so far with the breakdown of my 24 year marriage.
The day was set for something special I thought, with 23C warm July afternoon, a Beach Ocean view and beautiful Cirrus Cloud formations.
Karla and I were teated like Princess and Prince. The customer service was outstanding, Karla had never experienced anything like this in Peru, she said, "I'm in a Dream".
We started with Seared Scallops in the shell and Oyster Kilpatrick. For main we had the Seafood Rack, wow, so much product and choice, well worth the $189. We then finished off some immaculate desserts. I believe young Zac was once of our waiters, a big shout out to this young man, a credit to his employer. The looks of fondness from passer-by's is something to behold, their smiles are something synonymous of the Cronulla people, beautiful people.
We stayed until Sundown, then after a slow walk on the Beach, kicking sand, skipping through the water, taking photos, laughing.
A flawless day, seamless, absolutely one of the best days of my life, one which I'll never forget.
A simple "Thank-you" to Zimzala for an amazing experience, and also thanks to Karla for sharing that experience.

This is my second visit and I suspect I’ll be back many more times. Great sea view, friendly staff, delicious food and fast service. You have an excellent team, well done!

A great experience! Service and food was outstanding, and definitely felt looked after. Restaurant is in a really nice spot by the water so anywhere you end up sitting inside is pleasant. Will definitely be back!

We had a fantastic lunch .. food was delish . We had pan fried salmon, Zimzala pie and pasta. Zimzala pie was awesome.
Great food was complimented by the frontage view of South Cronulla beach. Our visitors from overseas was overjoyed with the lunch experience. It’s 5/5 rating from us. Highly recommended 👍👍

Perfect location on a glorious sunny winters day. We all had the yummy seafood pie it was sensational. Lovely, attentive service and reasonably priced considering location on the beachside esplanade. A good vibe dining 🍽 experience.

We had a lovely supper here to honour/remember an old friend with whom we'd dined there many times before. Happy memories. My mother is 92 so I asked for a quiet table, not too near a speaker. The manager was very considerate and put us in a great spot in a corner at the front. The folding doors were open and the view was breathtaking on a balmy summer evening. I had a delicious steak and Mum had the chicken. We walked from our hotel as parking nearby could be challenging when the beach is busy. Cheers and thank you!

SO delicious and tasty!

Firstly the most stunning location right on South Cronulla beach, super f4wsh clean and engaging decor inside.

The coffee was made well and has outstanding presentation.

I got the salmon as the main, so we'll cooked full of flavour and the presentation again was excellent.

The desert was my overall fav exactly what I felt like, perfectly made and OMG so delicious this topped off a really great experience.

We recently held our office Christmas Party at Zimzala and what a fabulous experience it was! They exceeded all our expectations from the time of booking right through to our lunch itself. The care taken was faultless. The location is superb - literally beachside. The food was generous, delicious and catered to all tastes. The grazing platters were divine! The attention to detail - Xmas decorations, personalised menus, extra tables to place drinks on was very thoughtful and appreciated. We utilised the alfresco space and it was perfect for a group; private yet open to the views and ocean breeze. Also a huge shoutout to the gorgeous Vanessa who was an absolute delight as our waitress. Her care, humour, attention and service was second to none and made the experience that much more enjoyable for us all. Well done Zimzala (& Vanessa!), we had an absolute ball!

Not the first time I have been to zimzala, but this is the first time for me going to their French night (I’ve been multiple times for breakfast, lunch and dinner). The French night was to die for, with amazing dishes an ambiance. Breakfast is always a treat also, with nice filling breakfasts and a great view especially in the morning! I hosted my 30th birthday a few months ago in their Annex room and I truly enjoyed the lovely space and attentive staff - this is one of the best restaurants in Cronulla in my opinion. My private room was immaculately set up when I arrived, the staff were all very polite and professional and the food was incredible.

We had the pleasure of dining at Zimzala and from entry to exit had a wonderful experience. We called to make a reservation and spoke with zack, who was very kind and accomodating.
Upon arrival we were seated at one of there window facing tables to a beautiful ocean view while we ate. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was light and breezy.
What put if over the top was the amazing service we received along the way. Will definitely be back!

A lovely restaurant in an amazing location. They serve delicious food. Their menu is extensive and varied with reasonable prices. We usually have breakfast here and enjoy that amazing beachfront view. Last night we had dinner in this restaurant and it was a delicious dining experience. Freshly made crusty bread, seafood chowder, the most deliciously cooked piece of fillet steak and panna cotta to finish. Yum... They make great coffee and fresh tea. The staff are warm and friendly and provide efficient customer service. Highly recommended.

A really beautiful spot with excellent food and amazing service. It was my friends birthday and Lee really made us feel extra special and celebrated! I Will definitely be back, like 100 more times with all my friends and family.

Gorgeous location beautiful view from every seat, yummy breakfast

Stunning views! Had a beautiful healthy breakfast and a coffee. The products are very fresh. Was served very fast also. Staff are very friendly. Does get booked out so if you want to get a seat next to the windows and look at the amazing view you might need to book earlier. Easy to find parking close by. After your done you can go for a nice stroll.

Great lunch and friendly service today. Nice signature cocktail, wine. The fish & chips was really nice as was the halloumi dish. Located right on the beach at South Cronulla. They have 2 seating areas plus at the bar, all with great views of the beach.
