Prema House Medical Centre

I started attending Prema House when I moved back to the area around the beginning of 2021. Unfortunately my beloved Dr Burdon-Bailey has exited the premises this year - although I can't fault the surgery for that and wish her well.

I've also seen Drs Ooi, Marks (fantastic for skin checks), McKiernan and Zaheer various times when I couldn't get in to see my previous doc.

Really commend the level of care and empathy from the GPs - in my experience it is very consistent. It's particularly convenient the practice has nurses and pathology services onsite. I also find the reception staff extremely helpful and accommodating.

Prema House always feels like a family and community-centred clinic, in times where your average surgery often prioritise numbers over patients.

we only started attending this surgery this year and had the opportunity to see Dr Xisco. He is amazing and very good. He is helpful, thoughtful and caring and has given us best medical advise and service ever.

I see dr Daniel Ooi for my depression & anxiety (for which, sometimes ,I find it hard to even attend my appointments in person) he is always kind, considerate and has a lot of patience,and he doesn't seem to mind when Im having a rough day and call at the last minute to change my appointment to a phone appointment.....(that may not seem like a big deal to some people,but hopefully those of you reading this that also suffer from anxiety know what I mean)

Honestly I've been to many doctors over the years and find Dr Ooi so efficient, friendly and he provides clear concise information. Everytime I see him I'm in and out in no time with the prescriptions and information I need. Five stars for Dr Ooi.

I’ve always had good experiences here. Easy to book appointments online, short wait times and Dr Sarah is very thorough and I’ve always felt comfortable talking to her. Plus bulk billed! So many places don’t bulk bill anymore so that’s a bonus.

I am a longstanding Patient. More than happy with services provided. After moving back to the area, several years ago, I am pleased to have finally found a GP, whom is highly competent & confident enough, to manage my varied & complex, medical conditions. Very rare in Regional NSW.

I am a longstanding patient of Prema House and cannot speak highly enough of the care I have experienced there. I never feel rushed and my concerns are always considered in a thoroughly professional manner. I always leave knowing that the practioner really understands where I am coming from and a practical way forward is put in place. I highly recommend Prema House.

Dr. S Listen, refer to specialist and mindful with kids, specially dr. Sarah and Victoria. All reception staff are amazingly helpful.

I've been a regular for over a year now. Great doctor John. Receptionists are fabulous.

Excellent service with great Doctors

My GP is here. She is wonderful. I find the staff extremely empathetic and caring. I had one problem with an extremely pushy nurse and I requested that I not see her again and have had no problem since.
I think as a medical centre Prema house is up there with the best. It's not jut push them through - there's genuine care.

This is an excellent medical center. The staff were lovely and very helpful. The doctors themselves were professional and overall very knowledgeable. I recommend this clinic to anyone who has their health as a first priority.

Great Drs that go beyond & empathetic. The reception staff are equally as good too. Nothing is to much trouble for any of them

Efficient and friendly

Dr Rathees Murugesapillai did not appear to understand my basic request on how to get further information or assistance on dealing with an osteo arthritic condition. Thank goodness this visit was bulk billed as it was a complete waste of my time!

Dr Thomas Marks is the rudest Doctor I’ve ever come across. Took my 2 year old in to get a second opinion on his rash, and he wasn’t interested because he’d never seen him prior. Told him not to worry about it and that I’d go elsewhere, but then he changed his tune and done his job. But honestly he’d be better suited working the self serve check outs at Coles. Rude, condescending and zero bed side manner. I read on the way in that he’s leaving the practice soon. Hopefully to the middle of the outback where he doesn’t need to see or talk to people.

Dr ratheed was rude to me for no discernible reason. I went in for a referral to my psych (easy, simple. Diagnosed and medicated for over 5 years. It was a simple letter. Adhd). Granted he wrote the letter, he was rude the entire time and didn't fill it out correctly so I had to jump through more hoops in the end.

It wasn't because of my neurodivergence because the previous guy came in for autism related reasons (heard it as they were doing goodbyes) and he even came out with him and was so friendly towards him. The only difference is gender. So if you're female probably ask for someone else.
