I organised a reunion of former workmates from the 90s.
The booking was made very easy by the friendly staff, and the pamphlet about functions provided good advice about food options.
I ordered several platters to accommodate different dietary requirements. The gluten vegan platter was a huge hit, as were the cheese, meats and dips options.
The venue was fantastic. I booked the back of the Hotel with a large table near the verandah, a light and airy space. We were mostly separate from other patrons, with plenty of room to mingle around.
The feedback from everyone was that the venue and food were great.

Enjoyable lunchtime experience at this hotel in the heart of Lismore, lovely staff, food presentation, and taste top class. Seating area for dining is relaxing and inviting. Highly recommended

Great value food with good vegan and other options to keep everyone happy. Standard prices for cocktails but more generously sized than most places. Staff were lovely, nice to see Lismore buzzing!

This is an Australian hotel - not an accomodation place, but rather somewhere to meet socially for drinks and meals - so the questions are way off the mark

The food was exceptionall ...
Attention to detail with my entrees of prawns and chorizo cous cous and pork belly salad.. Great cocktails too... I'll go again

Vegan linguine was tasty af, cocktails really good, will dine here again for sure! Hard to get an impressive vegan main anywhere but the linguine here is fantastic 👌

Thank you for the delicious meal we had this evening. 1 X steak & veges, and 1 by pumpkin salad with barramundi fish. Absolute outstanding meals & friendly service, Thank you to all the staff 😃

So glad this place has reopened with all of its former charm.
I recommend everyone tries their steaks. I don't know where they get them from, but I want them for home! Genuinely some of the best I've ever had in my life.
Always great chats and banter from the staff and a fantastic selection of beers and wines.
Best pub for dinner in Lismore.

I visited this place because I saw it on the Netflix show "Gods Favorite Idiot". I had the chicken schnitzel, mash potatoes and veggies and it was fantastic! Probably the best piece of chicken breast I've ever had. The portion was huge. Even the ketchup was bursting with flavor! I was hungry and still had leftovers. I definitely recommend this place.

We were travelling from Sydney to Brisbane when we decided to stay at Lismore, it was our first time, we agreed to go to the Sherwood for dinner, and here we go the food was absolutely top, everything was fresh and delicious, I have had the best rump steak and fish and chips in my whole life, highly recommend and looking forward to visit again. Good job to the chef.

We enjoyed our date night there. The place looks amazing and is pokie free 👍. Lovely service and really good food ( we had the tempura prawns, the steak and the salmon) and a great variety of beers, wines and cocktails.

We unexpectantly found ourselves in Lismore late at night without accommodation until we found The Sherwood Hotel. Their staff went above and beyond to secure a room for us. To top things off the food was amazing. Thank you Team Sherwood for everything you did for us!

I entered this pub in tears holding a pizza after being held hostage by a junkie on the street.
Staff called me a taxi, offered me their staff room, and made it their 100% priority to make sure i was okay above everything else including watching the front for my taxi and obviously delaying the cleaning/till counts they were meant to do, and put my situation above the opinion of any other customers possible unhappiness with my presence and crying.
Best pub and staff anywhere ever.

Great value renovated pub rooms. Quiet as not directly over the pub.

Popped into The Sherwood on Saturday night and was blown away with the establishment.
It’s a large yet cozy and well designed space. All the staff were incredibly friendly and super knowledgeable.
Impressive craft beer selection and the cocktails are heavenly (trust me I tried three, maybe four). I’ve tasted a few margaritas in my time however, the coconut margarita was pure magic.
Lismore is lucky to have an awesome family run pub like The Sherwood Hotel. Definitely check it out if your in Lismore.

Surprisingly awesome food here. The pub itself is good, cold beer, good selection and friendly service. It has a few different sections. Located on the side is a great restaurant it looks like almost fine dining. The wine list is extensive. However the food was sensational.

Best schnitzel hands down. Beers on happy hour. Can't beat it. Decent rooms but aircon takes a while to get going.

Very clean, beautiful decorated and well equipped rooms right in the middle of town. Great good, well priced and good service. Car park out the back.
Highly recommend, it was a real surprise for the price.
