North Break Cafe

Really great cafe. I had the Rosti burger - Bacon, Rosti, spinach, egg. It was really good. Coffee was also very good. Recommend!! Update: today we tried fish tacos, which were great and the salmon rosti burger which was amazing! Also had the home made lemonade which was super good.

I've been coming here for years, however recently the food has become more than phenomenal. I had the best steak sandwich I ever tasted hands down, followed up by one of the best toasties a couple weeks later. Props to the chefs. 🙌

Incredible coffee. I took an açai smoothie as well and it was simply amazing. Good food as well, it is the perfect spot to go and have breakfast, just in front of the beach in a beautiful spot to stay calmed and enjoying to eat a simple but good meal.

We love this place, especially the coffee. The staff are all super friendly and the food is exceptional. Joel is very generous with his servings and no-one ever leaves hungry. Kitchen must run like a well oiled machine, because we have never been kept waiting once our order is in. Keep it up please! Love ya'

We can't believe our luck that North Break is our local cafe, The dazzling beach location is matched by the passion of the owners to deliver the very best in food and service. The fantastic quality and generous portions are testament to the talented chefs. The friendliness and thoughtfulness of the amazing baristas and wait staff are the icing on the cake. Nothing is too much trouble. Whether we've had a morning coffee or a delicious meal we always leave North Break with smiles on our faces.

To the moment you walk up to the counter the lovely Jonty with the bluest eyes you’ve ever seen greets you and already knows your coffee order. In fact most staff have blue eyes, and all are so kind hearted. No matter how busy it is, Joel will always greet you and actually has a genuine care for each customer.
The food is next level amazing and the coffee is really smooth and made so well.
I love the fresh herbs out the front in the boxes and the good vibes right beside the beach 🌿

Groups of 6 + 2 kids. Big meals enjoyed by all. Service was also flawless. We had the Mexican wrap, fish & chips, spinach quiche and a few toasties. Recommended!

Great cafe! We had a post walk catchup bunch, acia bowl was very fresh and tasty. Will definitely be back!

A great little cafe 400m off the beach. Friendly staff and quick service. The food tasted as good as it sounded on the menu and if you sit outside they are Dog Friendly. Get there early on a Saturday morning and sit outside and watch life pass by. Right opposite a big playground which is fun for the kids.

Been to this place twice and both times have been very decent.

Options for vegetarians and vegans. Fairly large selection for vegetarians considering the size and location of the venue.

Open air, so best if you don't have any issues with acclimatising to the natural temperatures of the day.

Prices are a bit on the higher side, but this is having said how difficult the overall cost of living is in the current state of affairs globally.

Must try the vegetarian burger here!

Well prepared and well delivered food and drinks!

We had vegetarian Burger, Corn Fritters, Feel the beet (Beetroot, apple, ginger, lemon and parsley) and Green Peace (Cucumber, mint, lime, green tea, spinach, green apple and honey dew) drink. The burger had so much flavour and crispy edges of hash brown made it even better. Corn Fritter was tasty with some bacon.
Drinks were excellent.
Staff and service was amazing.

Great breakfast and really nice coffee.
Haloumi was probably the best I've had anywhere.
Had a Rosti burger and come with a side salad. The salad was dressed very nicely.
Inside and outside tables.

Always my go to cafe in Wollongong area after a workout or walk. They have the yummiest food with great texture and flavour combinations! Lots of halloumi and avocado seen on the menu which is always a win. Opted for a banana bread this time but usually I’ll go for the breakfast burrito or pancakes. Always get song bang for your buck here with large portions. The cafe has a great vibe, love the Aussie music playing in the background.

We came as a girls day out and thoroughly enjoyed our experience here. Service was quick, staff were polite and well knowledgeable and the food was lovely and well priced.
This cafe is well situated just across from the beach with lots of available parking nearby. Would highly recommend if ever in the area. Will definetly be returning if i’m ever in the area.

We come here weekly and the coffee is amazing and they always have a delicious vegan option (highly recommend the vegan wrap and corn fritter sandwich). Extremely friendly and hardworking staff :)

Love this place, just off the coastal walk, across from the playground for the kids, and dog friendly! Recommend the coffee and quiche!
