why is it called 5 star dry cleaners if it isn't 5 stars? i'm really confused.

Hard to give a rating for these guys but I've decided a 3 (or a 2.5) is probably best applicable

I've been a frequent customer here for years but now I'm looking for alternatives. I don't find the quality of work is up to scratch. It's fine if you just need your business shirts washed and ironed but anything more than that is where you run into problems.

Multiple times I've asked for minor repairs on clothes (zippers, hems, etc) and only to pick it up and the work has not been done. When I take it back it feels like a situation where "It's your word against mine". They're not hostile but not quite apologetic for making a mistake.

Also, they're not the fastest turn around compared to a lot of places, and they're not open on Sunday which makes it a bit tough to get your business clothes done over the weekend.

Rest assured they wont ruin your clothes, but I think there are better places out there.

They did a freshen up clean on a very expensive Goose Down Duvet which came back with a horrid unpleasant smell. They recleaned it twice and its better but not great. We had to take it to an expensive specialist drycleaner to get it recleaned. Not recommended for items like this but fine for the general day to day stuff
