Second time here this month and both visits got nice cappuccino and had brekky burger and Burrow burgers. Moreover I tried mushroom and rice fried snack and it was yumm. This place shift my expectations. Atmosphere like in an old cafe that I liked.

What can I say, ashamed that I haven't been there before as they are absolutely wonderful, tasty food, amazing service, and friendly atmosphere, will defo be back.
Ordered coffee ☕ very nice and egg breakfast (1 plate) they asked if we were sharing, and I said yes, and the picture is what we got, they split our order onto 2 plates and made sure the portions were good.
Truly a gem 💎✨💖

The Burrow is such a great cafe. It was my first time coming here for lunch with my family. We ordered french toast, chicken schnitzel and one of their specials: pork belly burger.
Everything was so delicious! Every dish was flavoursome and cooked perfectly. My personal favourite was the pork belly burger. Crispy crackling and juicy pork with tasty sauce.
Coffee was great too. Highly recommend.

Such a lovely cafe. We had a great time and enjoyed the food. The ragu was good considering this is a cafe and the steak sandwich was nice thanks to the relish. We couldn’t try the famous brioche but the homemade raspberry, almond and coconut slice was so delicious - and I dont even like coconut!

Couple of point to consider since I see the owner reading the reviews -

If the dinner specials are not available, they could probably go off the board? We happened to order one and were then told it wasn’t available

10% surcharge on Sundays in Sydney is very, very rare. Public holidays - totally understandable

Experienced a great dinner for two at The Burrow on Saturday night. The food was excellent, especially the Halloumi Sticks, not to mention the bruschetta, chicken and fish of the day. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. The place was fairly busy but luckily wasn't too loud so we could still hold a conversation. Will definitely be recommending The Burrow to friends and family.

I never eat sweet breakfast but one day I do. And it tastes amazing! 😍

And another amazing breakfast! Avo toast with poached egg. You could order half a size if you want to.

Favourite cafe and restaurant to go to in the Hills and Cherrybrook! The French toast for breakfast the other day was perfect. To top it off the cafe / restaurant has recently been renovated and it looks great! Really added to the atmosphere and has made it a great local place to go for dinner and drinks. Will definitely be back 😊

I first heard about The Burrow when they launched their amazing looking Caramilk pancakes. I unfortunately didn’t make it out to try those, but all their food looked so good that I thought it would be worth a 40 minute drive out to Cherrybrook….and it was! Two things I lurrrrvvvve in winter is slow cooked lamb and roasted pumpkin. I thought now the cooler weather is here that my salad bowl days were gone, but this was the perfect winter bowl. The 12 hour braised Moroccan lamb was perfectly tender, the pumpkin was full of flavour and I really liked the contrasting textures with the crispy chickpeas and pops of pomegranate offsetting the spinach and couscous. Paired with a glass of Malbec, it was a very indulgent mid-week lunch. My friend had the fish and chips and he said the fish was really crispy and tasted great.

Ordered online, fast delivery, got the chicken mushroom pasta and beef burger and both were delicious!! Highly recommend the sweet potato fries too. A bonus was the packaging was biodegradable instead of plastic or foam which was a nice touch. Will be ordering again!

Our local cafe that feels like home. The food is amazing, coffee is good and their homemade muffins are to die for. It's a fairly small place , which i love cause it feels very cozy and welcoming. There are good options for the kids and you can bring your dog with you and enjoy outside seating. Parking is always available and the staff is very friendly, welcoming and are considerate of your feedback.

One of the best cafe experiences I have had! I’ve only been there a few times but the coffee was exceptional AND they have free sparkling water on tap! Staff were amazing and so friendly, the kind of staff who you can tell have been trained to put the customer first no matter what, you feel like they really care. Loved the experience and will definitely be back :):)
