QBD Books Penrith

This is my local bookstore, and I have a great experience every time. Wide selection of books that are always in amazing condition, and the customer service is amazing. Always very nice and helpful and give great, fast service. Love shopping here, can't think of any problems I've ever had here, 10/10

What a one in a million experience from a bookstore…
I was chasing a deleted photography book about the ocean and I could not buy online so I called QBD head office and they told me the Sydney store in Penrith had the only copy of it. So I called them and spoke to a young lady, Karina, and asked if she could send it to Victoria as it was an in-store book only and not available online. She could hear the passion in my voice, and asked her manager if we could make an exceptional circumstance to send it to one of their stores in Victoria for me to collect… She went far and above what she needed to do, and made me a customer of QBD for life.
If that is the face of your business, well then your company is in great hands !

Great selection of current and older titles across a huge range on genres. They also have jigsaw puzzles and board games and some bookish merch. Mid range pricing.

I reallh like this little shop. Packed full of great books and sciency toys, friendly staff.

When the book I was looking for was not on the shelf, a lovely staff member went to the trouble to see if there were any in stock and found one out the back. So grateful and would recommend. 🌺

QBD Books is the best bookshop chain I have ever seen. QBD has an extensive range of books for pretty much anybody, and then more. They range from zodiacs and tarot cards, to the latest, most popular manga volumes, to educational books, and to cookbooks. If you can think it, it's at QBD. The only downside is that they use plastic bags (shame).

YES. I was able to go to a book shop and buy a swag of books to read as I read every afternoon. Some I keep and some I donate to the salvos when finished with. Nothing like the smell of a new book not like the musty old library books. Sorry happy to be out of lockdown and have the simple pleasures in life returned.

Staff are super friendly and keep the shop well stocked. The shop has recently expanded at the back and now seems to include a national geographic type store with goodies down the back. Great prices and large range.

Very knowledgeable and friendly staff, decent prices. Whilst the selection is a bit limited given the floor space they do pretty well. Good for popular fiction and the occasional cheap deal on random stuff on the bins. They have some comics as well.

On a recent trip to Penrith QBD, I was having trouble retrieving my Birthday Voucher. Courtney and the other staff members were A-Mazing !! They resent the link and it worked fine.
I truly appreciate the time and effort the Sunday morning team put in nothing bothered them and they really did work together as a team.

Sale on right now so no problems finding a bargain. Staff are efficient and friendly. Relaxed atmosphere in the shop so no rushing in and out allowed ! 😃

Staff are always helpful. This unfortunately is our only local bookstore left.in saying that, It's a great big store with a wide range. It would be the store I would of chosen to stay open if I had to.

There have a great range of books for all ages. Also their staff are lovely and friendly. Love the ladies that work here. Always there to help if you need it.
