Wednesday night is burger night. $16 burger and chips. Can't go wrong with the Angus or Southern Fried chicken. Great value and tasty. 👍

Food always never disappoints ! Always consistent and as always looks and tastes amazing! Only negative I could say is the portion size of the wings is reduced but price hasn't. Other than that I recommend 100%

We had a lovely 90th birthday 🥳🎂. The staff could not have been nicer and more accommodating. The food came out fast despite how many of us were there. Every dish was amazing and the plates are plentiful.

I was pleasantly surprised at the Red Cow. One of the best chicken schnitzels I have ever had and the DJ was great. The vibe was very chill. The only thing I would comment on was the lengthy wait for cocktails however it was very busy.

Two visits have been most enjoyable, sitting under shady trees, comfortable. Others nearby enjoyed their company and food. Staff were always busy and pleasant. On both visits I ate rump and vegetables, the quality was exceptional. Better than so many. If I want steak and attractive green vegetables, I won't look elsewhere.

I hosted an engagement party here for 55 people, it went beautifully! Very reasonable pricing for an event of this size and very well catered with plenty of food options. Food was plentiful and good quality. Friendly staff were able to accomodate an externally hired photo booth as well as two severe coeliacs and a guest in a wheelchair. They closed off our function area several hours before the event started giving us plenty of time to setup and were able to both refrigerate and serve our externally prepared desserts for no extra charge. Highly recommended for both casual pub style dining as well as catered events!

Great food great atmosphere recently gone under refurbishment. Downstairs bar looks excellent cant wait for the limits due to covid to be removed so this place can get back to the legendary local it use to be.

Great pub to have lunch during the week with a $16 lunch menu. Beers and snittys are better than anything in the Plaza food court. Would recommend sitting upstairs on the verandah always entertaining to watch the "interesting" characters of Penrith in their natural habitat.

I've had the pleasure of visiting the Red Cow hotel in Penrith many times as I lived in the neighbouring areas for over 50 years, and I must say that it has always been a great hotel. The hotel's location is fantastic, right in the heart of Penrith and just a short walk from the train station. The surrounding area is beautiful, with plenty of picturesque villages and stunning countryside to explore. One of the highlights of the Red Cow hotel is the food. The restaurant serves a wide range of delicious dishes, including classic pub favorites and more sophisticated, contemporary cuisine. The ingredients are fresh and locally sourced, and the chefs clearly take great pride in their work. Went to the Red Cow for lunch yesterday and had the lunch time 200g steak. I have eaten at a lot of pub and hands down the best steak I have ever had. Compliments to the Chef.

We held our engagement lunch here and had the Mexian Fiesta buffet. Very reasonably priced. We had an absolutely amazing experience. The manager Jess was so helpful in organising and Maddy was so friendly and accomadating on the day. The food was delicious and a great set-up, compliments to the chef John! A very nice intimate space upstairs that felt cosy but still bright and airy. They went above and beyond to make it a special day for us.

The place was recommended to me years ago as the one serving best chicken schnitzels in Sydney, and they were absolutely right. Absolutely best schnitzel I've had in Australia 🇦🇺
