Platform T8

Wonderful hidden gem near the train station. The Turkish eggs are excellent! They had run out of mushrooms for the dish, but replaced it with roasted tomato and a free hash brown on the side! Coffee is delicious and the workers there are very kind/helpful. Definitely making Platform T8 a regular breakfast destination for my partner and I.

Situated just outside Penrith train station, T8 has quality coffee and takeaway breakfast options ready for busy morning commuters.
There's indoor and outside seating for customers who have time to hang around. I enjoyed an alfresco Friday breakfast with a colleague before work at T8 in Oct 2022. I chose the crispy French toast with ice cream and was not disappointed! Be warned, the French toast is HUGE and the ice cream is generous, arrive hungry or maybe share this delicious option?! The Avocado Smash was well proportioned for one and the coffee was amazing. If possible, bring your dog, because not only was the service wonderful, they sell doggie treats too! And all the dogs are greeted with a smile and a pat from staff. I thoroughly enjoyed my T8 experience and can't wait to go again!

Beautiful experience at the local cafe today, my daughter enjoyed the food and the lovely waitstaff! Coffee was superb!

Great service and even better food. A nice little Cafe next to Penrith station. Enjoyed my short visit here. Everything was excellent. A perfect Saturday morning breakfast.

This place might just have the best steak sandwich in the whole of NSW. I’ve been all around, worked in cafe’s, and nothing beats the steak sandwich here. My only regret is getting to try the food right before moving out of the area.

Great food, even better coffee and amazing service. It's a great stop for a coffee on your way too or from Penrith station and a good spot for breakfast or lunch on the weekend. The staff are awesome and the food and coffee are there to back them up!

Really enjoyed my birthday breakfast with my daughter

The fungi bowl was delicious. My partner brought me here and I didn’t really feel like breakfast so I picked something different and it was amazing. Was worried it would be very spicy from the chilli oil but it was well balanced.

My partner and I come here all the time. Coffee is always good, food is tasty. We love the brekky burger and banofee pancakes. They always take great care when packing takeaway as well. We always look forward to seeing what biscuit we get with our coffee. Staff are friendly and prices are reasonable. It’s a favorite.

Okay let's be honest here it was amazing.
However I don't want you to know that because I want an empty seat. I want to smash their eggs Benedict and chocolate shake.
But I will say, as long as you can promise not to be there when I am it was fantastic however if you want to come when I am there it was horrible.

I found this gem of a coffee shop during lockdown and would come here regularly for my daily coffee. Coffee is beautiful here and the girls are always lovely.
I recently went on a rainy day for lunch and unfortunately there is no indoor seating so I had to get take away. My take away chicken burger was the best I’d ever had, I will continue coming back and enjoying this place!

As a resident of Thorton Estate sometime now this morning was actually only the first time as a customer here. Came for a bite and cuppa before seeing my friend off at the station and we were accompanied by my adult children and toddler. After much indecisiveness on my part we were met with very accommodating, friendly and patient staff and meals of generous portions. Very handy location for me and we will definitely visit again. Thankyou for a lovely morning.

I had breakfast with a good cappuccino and a nice apple muffin, and with the beautiful smiles of staff who kept me company while I was there!

A great place for a coffee, breakfast, lunch and everything in between. Great food, great staff and always a friendly atmosphere. Highly recommend.
