Frango Penrith

Honestly, not a fan of Frango's chicken.

But I've been obsessed with their lamb rump lately, that and their very sauce up chips is an amazing combination. Prices are good, service is good even when it gets really busy.

Portions were a great size and the food was nice. It was also easy to order and fairly fast given how busy it was.

Chicken is always fresh and juicy. It is the best charcoal chicken I’ve tasted especially when basted with their famous chilli. Perfect combo!

Mouthwatering food, no matter what time of day you go there the food is fresh and amazing selections on the menu, staff are great

One of the best Charcoal chicken places you can buy. The family meal is great value. I guarantee everyone will be satisfied. The chicken and chilli sauce is cooked to perfection. The tabouli is well balanced while the chips are crispy and generous in the family size. The staff are friendly and efficient and give recommendations when asked. As at 4 July 2020 there is no dine in option due to social distancing rules which is understandable. Regardless I highly recommend this place. 5 stars without a doubt!

Tasty food, I totally love their chickens, generous portions, atmosphere of KFC or something, usually quite loud and crowded

Top notch just absolutely top notch. Serving size, flavour, freshness. Can wait a tad when they busy but 1000% worth it. Go to place for a decent tasty feed. Burgers are great pork is amazing. Fantastic all round.

As a large team we order Frangos at least once a week. It’s always a crowd favourite, but I wanted to share my experience today as it was extra enjoyable all because of Melinda !!!

Melinda was friendly, polite and extremely patient. She worked with me while I went through and ordered 12 individual meals that all had different sauces, sides and drinks. I loved that she was confident and did everything she could to ensure our order was correct. Our order was prepared in less then 10 mins and all the meals were packed neatly in a box making it super easy to carry. Melinda even labelled each one of the meals for me so it made it so easy to hand them out when I got back to the office.

I could not fault one thing so thank you Melinda, we appreciate you and your efforts!!

Love the food and service in this place. Good value for money - whether burgers, whole chicken or meals. The lamb rump is juicy, marbled with enough fat, it is so good. And if you love desserts, you NEED to try the flan. Great variety of salads as well. I have tried 3-4 varieties - all were good. My family also loves the fries. One of our regular go-to places....

Very nice burgers today. Very popular restaurant. Just finished walking over the new bridge so very hungry.

We haven't had Frango for years but decided to get it for lunch today. This was the first time at this location. Food was prepared quickly and with care. Staff calls out the number on your receipt and (in our case) ask what sauce we want on the burger and if we want salt on the chips. Was still hot once home (15 minutes away) and we actually have leftover chips for dinner now too. Delicious!

Always busy, but it's worth it everytime.

Food came out hot, in abundance and beef was tender and juicy! We loved the garlic prawns, cooked perfectly.
We had a first timer with us and she absolutely loved it. Thank you Management and Team for a great experience. Will come back and definitely recommend to others.
Yes it was busy but that means that the place is doing something right to be busy!

I mean what needs to be said about Frangos that the world doesn't already know? The chicken is tender and flavoursome, the chips seasoned and cooked to perfection, the food delivery prompt (even when packed it is not an unreasonable waiting time).

If you are yet to try Frangos, the time to try is now and the time to try again is tomorrow.
