Cape Tribulation Camping

Stayed in the green area which is no power and one communal freshwater tap . The amenities are nothing short of brilliant, modern airy and well maintained.
The camping area is spacious and choose your own area
Surrounded completely by rain forest.
Walking distance to beach and boarded walk pathways and tour centres.

This was such a special place. Beautiful grounds amongst the rainforest, right on the beach. The woodfired pizzas were delicious, and the atmosphere around the central area of an evening was great. We were even lucky enough to spot a crocodile about 20metres off the beach one day. If you can, request caravan site 5, this was the best in our opinion. Cannot recommend this place enough!

Great experience at Cape Trib, the location is fantastic being located in the rainforest and then a stones throw away from the beach - a really memorable experience.
The facilities were excellent and very clean, and the staff were lovely and friendly! A must go and a good location for Daintree board walks!

We stayed in one of the premium, beachfront, powered sites. Truly amazing location with a 20 walk to an incredible beach. Shame you cannot swim because of the crocs. The staff were friendly and helpful, the location perfect for exploring the area. It rained while we were there and the ground was a little boggy around us, but the tent site itself is elevated on fine gravel so we were quite dry and cozy. The campground facilities are complete and clean. I would recommend this location to anyone wanting to visit the Daintree.

Such a cozy camp ground! Spacious plots that are so close to the beach. We loved falling asleep to the sound of the ocean yet walking out onto gorgeous green grass in the morning.
The woodfired Pizza was delicious and the amenities always clean and close by.

Excellent little camp spot with the beach right at your doorstep. Easy caravan access with Clean shower and toilet available with a little cafe that serves coffee and pizza at certain times. The weather was not on our side so it was quite muddy and lots of rain but we did manage to have a fire for a little while. Nice quiet getaway. Highly recommend.

We stayed for 3 nights at the unpowered site. Amenities were always kept clean and dry the whole time. The hot shower was great too. We have a cafe on site with wood fire pizza. The vegan pizza was fantastic! We are lucky to be able to find vegan food here, the vegan cheese was great. The staff were friendly and polite. The communal kitchen has a microwave, tap drinkable water, 3 large fridges, detergent for washing dishes and a kettle to make a cup of tea. Less than 2 mins walk to the beach, i can hear the wave from our tent. We enjoyed our time here.

Fantastic camp site in the middle of the Daintree, the facilities were better than any site I’d been to across Cairns. Clean and hot showers and plenty of other amenities that I didn’t use. All for a very reasonable $20 (without electricity).

One of the best campgrounds I have ever stayed at.
The location is superb, sites are large and apart.
Amenities have high tech quality and are spotlessly clean.
The cape is a wonderful place , so relaxing, I wish we could stay more!
Without lowering the above review it could have been more quiet at the evening.but maybe its all the noisy dutch guests who should be blamed...

Can’t fault the location, facilities or the owners. Highly recommend staying here, the green campsite had great facilities and tonnes of space. Can’t thank the owners enough for helping us out big time after we ran in to some car troubles, thanks again for helping us get to our keys ! 😊

Stayed here for 2 nights wished we had stayed for a week. Beautiful park with great clean ammenities and clean water.
Plenty of room for big and small setups.
Kids had fun getting coconuts off the beach and having a fire, great bar and pizzas too. Definitely be back for a longer stay 👍

Great place to camp. Very close to the beach. Can have campfires on the beach. Good amenities and a nice bar and wood fired pizzas! Best sunrises ever!

Just spent 2 nights at cape trib camping and was absolutely incredible, perfectly situated on the beach, with a nice creek. The facilities here were unmatched- toilets and shower that were modern and impeccably clean and camp kitchen with bbq that was perfect for us to use whilst it was raining. Thanks guys !!

Green camping was a really nice spot, plus the facilities for this part of the campground were pristine! The pizzas from 5-8pm were great as well as morning coffee. Would definitely come back here!!!

I booked an unpowered site for a night. We shared a wood fired pizza at the bar and my wife had a Pina Colada. The beach is stunning and the shower/toilet facilities are good too. A must see part of Australia..

Great and clean facilities for use.
We had planned to cook dinner and breakfast, but could not resist the kitchen options and convenience they offered.
Friendly staff.

Good food, environment and it’s all so environmentally inviting.

Priced well for the luxury it provides. Do yourself a favour and make your nights stay a minimum of TWO, ideally if you can 3+

Amazing camping 🫶🏻 really I recommend a lot, the toilet always is clean, they have a little beautiful kitchen and the most beautiful thing is they have amazing access to the beach 🤩
