Absolutely beautiful and truly amazing in all aspects - location, facilities, cleanliness, owner, fruit, wildlife… everything. I would say it’s a once in a lifetime experience to stay here, but this is my second time, with the last being about 20 years ago. The owner is so kind and knowledgeable and we really enjoyed his company. Truly off the grid, so a perfect getaway. Such close proximity to so many amazing hikes, walks, beaches, and other activities. I cannot recommend this place highly enough!!!

We had a fantastic time at Jeremy and Merran’s fruit tasting - both kids had so much fun (despite one not normally eating fruit at all - she tried almost everything!) and we’re all hoping to make the trip back up north so we can spend more time in Cape Tribulation and try a new round of fruit!
Jeremy was extremely personable and told us some fantastic stories about the fruit we were trying - definitely family friendly and we had a blast!
Would recommend to everyone - fruit lover or not!

We had an amazing time here. It was a first-hand experience of staying on a tropical fruit farm. Our host Sam was super accommodating and supplied us with plenty of all of their delicious harvest.

Dropped in for the fruit tasting experience led by Jeremy who was very friendly and insightful. Great variety of fruit available to taste with the quality being much better than what we often get at the markets in Melbourne. Definitely recommend!!

My partner and I had an awesome experience. Sam was really cool to listen to and was very happy to answer questions and engage with us. I am a huge fruit lover and this did not disappoint, I could have eaten double the fruit that was provided but that just me being gluteus! The verity and portion was perfect. Would highly recommend

Great fruit tasting experience. We learned a lot and tasted a lot as well. Great set up and then walked us around the orchard explaining about the trees and plants as we went. Worthwhile visit and worth paying to see and taste. Good to taste fruit I have sometimes seen in a shop and not known what it is!

Highly recommend booking a tasting tour here, definitely worth the drive!
Sam lead the tasting providing some fantastic information about the fruit, how it's grown, history of the family farm and some stories from the local area. Was a fantastic experience tasting fruits, some I hadn't tried before. Then we spent some time walking around the orchard.
I was impressed with the way they conducted the serving of the fruit, the knowledge and way Sam conveyed it, and how happy they were to answer questions. Brilliant experience and learnt so much!
Only thing that could have been improved would be larger serves of the fruit, but that is just me being greedy as they were so delicious!
Thankyou so much for opening your farm to us!!!

Sam welcomed us openly to the farm. We turned up hoping for a tasting and although we missed the start time he was happy to help us experience some of the awesome fruit on offer. Went away with a football fruit and it did not disappoint!! Thanks so much Sam, would love to come back for the full tasting next time!!

A relaxing and enjoyable stay at this fruit farm for 5 of us. Nicely done cottages among the fruit trees and beautiful surrounding. Nice bird sounds early in the morning. Central location for many activities. The host brought a bucket of coffee, milk, tea to the cottage decking every morning which was very nice. We preferred to enjoy our coffee at the common area where we enjoyed the conversations with the host family members and other guests and the companies of Lucy and Rosie (the dogs) each day during breakfast and dinner. Enjoyed the tropical fruits prepared for us each morning. The fruit tasting tour with information about the farm family history and the variety of tropical fruits was interesting. Well done Jeremy, Merran, Sam, Clare and the staff. Thank you for having us and your hospitality. We would like to stay longer next time.

We did the fruit tasting with our two girls, aged 12 and 9, and we all loved it. It was the highlight of our time in the Upper Daintree. Not only do you get to taste 10+ delicious exotic fruits, the tour is absolutely packed with fun and informative details about fruit farming, the Daintree, the wildlife, and more. The tour host was so friendly, welcoming, and entertaining. Don't miss this place!

We thoroughly enjoyed our tropical fruit tasting experience, Sam was very friendly and knowledgable and shared interesting background stories about all the fruit. The fruit itself was amazing, we tried fruits we’d never seen before such as soursop, sapodilla, Mamey sapote, mangosteen, breadfruit and fresh picked coconuts and many others. The tasting is followed by an orchard tour which was also great. I highly recommend this for any foodies and fruit lovers :)

What a fantastic place to stay! Serene surroundings with the exotic fruit bowl for breakfast (real yummy 😋) Cottages are beautifully furnished with hot shower and air-con. Full kitchen just a few steps away from the cottage - places to eat out too despite being remote. Plenty activities near by with snorkelling place just around the corner from the farm, not forgetting the most picturesque beaches. Would love to come back ❤

We booked in advance for the exotic fruit tasting. Merran did an excellent job providing us with family history of the business and giving us all the information about the exotic fruit on display. Some of the fruit we had never heard of and the tasting was interesting! A walk through the garden finished off our visit.
Thank you Merran and Jeremy for a great tasting session.

The exotic fruit tasting was a real highlight while in Cairns. Excellent assortment of fruit to taste. Our favourites were the soursop, breadfruit, mangosteen and sapodilla. Unless you hate fruit, Cape Trevi Farm should definitely be on your itinerary. Sam and team were really friendly and patient with all our questions as well. Thanks guys and all the best!

Jeremy and Merran were fantastic hosts. It was great to be able to chat about the farm, the fruit, the history of the place and their varied experiences over an assortment of exotic fruit for breakfast. Their local knowledge re: eating/walking etc. was really helpful. The accommodation was clean and comfortable. The morning delivery of tea and coffee was also a nice touch as well as the return ferry fare included for a 3 night booking. Thanks again to you both. Chris and Mary

Without exception the owner and staff are outstanding. Merran and Jeremy keep an excellent farm stay experience. Their tropical fruits are a crowning glory for the breakfast of cereals, breads and local condiments. The accommodation, nestled among the orchard rows is new, neat clean and most welcoming. A communal building with full kitchen , refrigerators, alfresco meal space and a nearby BBQ, pizza oven and bench table.
A great, friendly place to stay. 5/5

We went for the fruit tasting. (Ensure to book in advance). The selection of fruit was great. The main chap was very knowledgeable about the different varieties of fruit. Was lovely to hear about the family's story in the area and running the farm. Got a little tour round afterwards which was really rewarding. They also have some friendly dogs (Lucy), which was an added bonus. Would 1000% recommend.

Myself and my partner stayed at the farm for 5 nights. We can honestly say it was one of the best holiday experiences of our lives. Jeremy, Merran, and the entire crew were amazing hosts. We could not have asked for anything better during our stay in Cape Tribulation. The property was amazing and it will be hard coming home and not eating all those amazing fruits for breakfast. If you are looking for a place to stay, worry free in Cape Trib, you would be foolish not to stay at the farm!

What an amazing experience my husband and I had at Cape Trib Farm Stay. The hosts were super hospitable and generous with their time and knowledge. The cabin was so comfortable with real sense of luxury. Great location to explore the area. There was a fantastic natural water hole a short walk from the cabins. The shared farm kitchen was a real treat to be able to cook your meals as well as chat to other guests. Breakfast is the absolute hightlight with a bowl overflowing with exotic tropical fruits and housemate jam for your toast. Despite the rain we had an amazing time. Highly recommended

This is a review for the fruit tasting only. It was a truly sensational experience. Trying many fruits that you would never get to eat elsewhere. And the tastes are out of this world. Our host was very informative and obviously passionate about her farm, thank you for sharing it.
If you love trying new foods this is for you!
