Coconut Beach House

I stayed here recently with my family and we found Coconut Beach House to be idyllic. The house offers expansive indoor / outdoor living options which enhance the tropical location. In addition to everything that you would need in this well stoked house, Sheena and Gerry have incorporated some great personal touches such as games for wet weather. The house is well located close to the centre of Cape Tribulation and it's the perfect place to unwind with a stunning hammock on the deck. The highlight for us was the private path to Coconut Beach, which takes you through an incredible fan palm gallery. Highly recommended!

Beautiful scenery, very nice house. Nice and spacious, had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Loved the nice walk through the fan palm gallery to the beach.

Absolutely beautiful, but very small parking area but worth the stop if you can fit in somewhere safely.

Excellent location and accomodation.

Midden in het regenwoud. 1 Km van Cape Tribulation.
Van hieruit hebben we veel leuke activiteiten gedaan. Naar het strand is een leuk pad van ongeveer 400 meter door het regenwoud. Daarnaast kun je altijd Jef bellen als je een vraag ergens over hebt. Het telefoonnummer je een paar dagen voor aankomst.
Wij hebben van hieruit gesnorkelt met Ocean Safari. Super gaaf. Veel koraal en schildpadden.
Met Treetops hebben we een zipline gedaan met 5 volwassenen. Ook erg leuk om te doen zo door het regenwoud.
Het leukste wat we hebbem gedaan is met Allister van Daintree Experience een hele dag op pad geweest. Smorgens een wandeling naar een waterval met swimhole op een prive terrein en daarna lunch waarbij we konden kiezen uit kangoeroe (tip) krokodil, kip en beef. De dag afgesloten met een kleine onderneming met een krokodillen tour. Allemaal met Allister.
Je kunt trouwens lekkere steenoven pizzas eten bij de naast gelegen camping.
Maar in het huis (groot) is ook voldoende aanwezig om te koken.
Enige nadeel is dat er geen horren zijn en je dus optijd de grote schuifdeuren dicht moet doen anders zijn er muggen binnen. Goede wifi. Geen buren. Goede bedden.
