Their Mastani Chai was so good also their Butter chicken and Veg. Manchurian tasted the best along with Garlic nan

Exotic Indian food, awesome location. Very clean and nicely decorated. Have big spaces and ball room. Wide range of food. Very good tasty food and you can ask your desired spice as per your ability. Highly recommend for those who want to enjoy Indian food in very clean and aristocratic environment.

We ate there the other week, food and service were great. I got the beef vindaloo and my partner got the butter chicken with garlic naan. We also shared samosas which were good but not quite as good in comparison to the main meals.

Three Indian restaurants in town all with in walking distance. Do the walk. Check them out. We did and chose Kings Xl, great tasting food. Great value and service. Stylish and very clean premise.

Food is top notch, amazing chicken curry, flavors are soo good. Afghani chicken was the best. One of the best Indian restaurant in Newcastle. Service was excellent.

Delicious food, affordable and super lovely, accommodating staff. A whole menu for vegetarian mains and starters with vegan options too

Kings XI I find is an excellent place for a sit down meal or take away. I have had the pleasure to have meals in the homes of Indians, there are 3 Indian restaurants I love in Newcastle and this is one of them.

Forget your boring buffets! Every dish was a poem on a plate, a symphony of spices that danced on your tongue. Five stars? Nah, this place deserves a whole constellation!

We had dinner before going to the Tom Jones Concert,all of our dishes and entrees were delicious.Service was attentive and staff were very nice.Just a pity its a bit of a drive there from Sydney 😉😍😍

Excellence in Indian cuisine, in my opinion equates with achieving a perfect balance of flavors, it's akin the harmony in a well-tuned orchestra, where no single sound overwhelms the others. This was precisely what I experienced at "Kings XI" in Newcastle, a truly delightful culinary experience.

My enthusiasm for food in genral and cooking compensates for lack of training or expertise in gourmet food. For me, cooking a dish is like writing a poem; and it's the closest I, an average joe with zero artistic skills, ever comes to an artistic expression.

During a recent long weekend, my family and friends enjoyed a getaway to the Nelson Bay/Newcastle area. In the evening based on a friend's recommendation we decided to go to "Kings XI" restaurant in "NewCastle"

From the menu we narrowed down on "chicken saag," "kadahi chicken," and "Patiala Goat," from the non-veg section, and in the veg we had "Handi Paneer", "Dal Makhani" and "Bhindi Do Pyaza" along with an assortment of Nans, Kulchas and Rotis

The chicken saag was a revelation, its smoky depth and garlic-infused flavor perfectly complementing the tender meat, making it a dish to rave about. The kadahi chicken was brilliant one of the best I've had in this country. The "Patiala Goat", quite notable for its tangy zest, and the indulgent "bullet nan," a departure from typical naan bread, were both impressive. Dal Makhani was balanced and well-tempered, Handi paneer was not too bad either.

Notably the dish that took us all by surprise was "Bindi Do Pyaza", the chefs take on the dish was quite commendable, this is evident by the fact that it won over even the children in our group. The dining experience was so memorable that it became a topic of conversation over drinks later that evening. The service at the place was amiable, accommodating, efficient and warm. We definitely will visit the place again!

The food was delicious and the plates were licked clean. The staff was very kind and The place was extremely clean.We will definitely come back again.

Kings XI is a top notch Indian Restaurant, ambience is lovely, service great, and the food fantastic. We had
Aloo Ki Chatpati Chaat and Veg Manchurian for entrees and for mains Daal Makhani and Handi Paneer with a couple of
Plain Naan and a Masala Kulcha , so much food we had to take some home. Drinks were a Mango Lassi and a Rhythm & Rhyme Rosé. Did manage to squeeze in a Gulab Jamin and Ice Cream and another Rosé to finish. A superb dinner that was perfect in every way!
