Cape Trib Beach House

We stayed there for 3 nights and had a great time. It's beautifully located in the rainforest with beach access. The highlight was the restaurant and bar. Great service and food and a good selection of drinks. The kids loved the pool. The room was a bit small, but that was as expected, so no surprise there. We spent most of the time outdoors anyway.

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. Would highly recommend. The best feature about this place is the Tides Restaurant and Bar. The choice and quality on the menu was outstanding and the choice of drinks was brilliant too. Clem, the French chef, produced dishes of the highest quality that you would expect in the top restaurants in the world. I would definitely recommend eating at tides even if you are not staying at the beach house.

A very beautiful place for every person who wants a place to relax and forget about the rest of the world. I had a shared cabin for three persons with a bathroom and it was clean, beautiful and had enough space. The beach is big and incredibly beautiful!! Impossible to go to the water because of the crocodiles and don't go to the beach at night! You won't have internet there except at the restaurant but you will have to pay an extra for it! The restaurant is very good.

Very beautiful place. Definitely feels like living in a rainforest. We saw goannas, wild turkeys, cockatoos and more. We stayed in a five person bungalow; beds were nice and comfy. Bathroom = lovely. The pool is great. The restaurant has good food as well + very accommodating staff.

We arrived late and had forgotten to let them know. Thankfully our late arrival package had been left out for us and we weren’t stranded! The room was clean and comfortable. The grounds were so quiet with easy access to the beach and beautiful rainforest surrounds. The restaurant was quiet but food was good.

Didnt stay here but came with Billy Tea Safaris during a day trip to the daintree. The food was great, we had the steak and fish n chips. The drinks were well priced, toilet facilities were clean and the beach was just so beautiful!!! Loved this stop, just wish we had more time to really explore the beach more. Thankyou also to all the friendly, helpful staff.

We had a beautiful two night stay at Cape Trib Beach House. Vicki was so helpful booking our tours prior to arrival and altering times at our request. There was also a bottle of wine in our room on arrival for my husband's birthday which was greatly appreciated. The room was small (double bed and two singles) however we were busy exploring the rainforest for most of our stay anyway so the small room wasn't an issue for us. The room price was very reasonable and considering the low cost I was surprised that the rooms were also made up each morning which was a nice treat. The pool was beautiful and refreshing and set amidst the rainforest. The restaurant servings were delicious and generous with great service from the staff. Access to the beach was a bonus. Although swimming is not allowed due to stingers and crocs, we enjoyed relaxing strolls along this picturesque beach where the rainforest meets the reef.

A very magical place to come and stay at the wonderful Cape Tribulation. The beachfront location is convent for nice walks along the beach and spotting some crocs! The rooms are a bit small, but you are in the middle of the scenic rainforest.

Had lunch here on tour, perfect size meal , lovely food , bar available, perfect!

My partner and I stayed here for a few nights and were blown away by the beachside location, the newly renovated cabins and the friendliness of the staff. We had several meals in the restaurant and were impressed with the quality and portions, and the chef was even amenable to tailoring dishes to my requirements. For an experience in the rainforest that blends some creature comforts with genuine isolation, it’s hard to beat this place. Well done for surviving and thriving despite the challenges of COVID. Thanks so much, everyone!

Our family had an amazing time disconnecting from devices and reconnecting to each other and nature. It was an incredible opportunity to teach our children about protecting our Daintree rainforest and still provide them with all the fun of a pool and sand and great family games. The food was well priced and delicious. The drinks were well priced and delicious 😋. The renovation is sensational and the facilities are great.
The beds deserve their own review. So so comfortable and we didn’t want to leave. Fell asleep to the sounds of the rainforest and the kids slept 2hrs past the time they normally would. This is a magic I wish I could take home!
We will absolutely be back and thank you so much for an amazing stay.

Awesome eco Lodge accommodation. We stayed one night and could have keep busy for another day and night but not sure if its suitable for more than that (for us). Kitchen had run out of many food items when we were there which reduced the service stars. Otherwise excellent

Dropped in here while on a tour. The foodbwas brilliant and the prices reasonable. Don't be put off by parking and then walking 100m through the villas. It is worth it. Oh and yes they have cold wine, beer and soft drinks.

The Beach House for lunch is such a magic spot.
Returned for lunch after living overseas for 8.5 yrs. Food was excellent!
Stayed in the Crispin Cabins in 2009 can't wait to stay again. Beautiful UNESCO site .. Cape Tribulation.

I recently booked a cabin for my grandson and his friend from the USA, sadly one of the boys had appendicitis and ended up in Cairns Hospital for an operation and they were not able to make it to the cabin.

Such a great place to stay! Right on the beach at the end of the sealed road. Friendly staff, friendly holiday makers, I felt very welcome. Big comfortable beds and simple rooms. It was wonderful to feel the rainforest around me. There are amazing walks on your doorstep and lots of things to do eg horse riding and tours of the reef. I really loved it.

We decided a last minute getaway was on the cards so we booked the beach house for a one night stay. We were overwhelmed by the beautiful untouched surroundings of the daintree, and the beach right at your fingertips. The accommodation was just perfect for the 2 of us and very comfy. The sounds of the rainforest and waves at night were magical. No internet didn't bother us at all. The pool lovely and the bar and restaurant well priced. The service from the bar and restaurant was amazing. We will definitely be back to visit in the near future with family and friends. Do yourselves a favour and visit this place. Highly recommend

Location was absolutely stunning! Cabins in the rainforest and easy beach access made for the perfect "where the forest meets the sea" experience.

Cabins were clean, tidy and beds were very comfy!!

Staff were friendly and helpful, in both reception and restaurant and knowledgeable about the local area and activities to do.

A calming and peaceful place to stay in the middle of the Daintree!

It was a lovely experience to stay at Cape Tribulation Beach house. The staff were friendly, warm, helpful and accommodating. I arrived late one night and although the front desk was closed, they reopened the office to help me find a bed for the night. 🙂 The amenities are great too. The restaurant and cafe offers good food along with a nice fireplace and pool. You are only a few steps away to the beach and you get to experience the Magical Daintree Forest right from up close. I strongly recommend the experience!

My daughter married in the beach in August 2018. We stayed at the Cape Tribulation Beach House who also catered for the wedding. The staff were fabulous. Nothing was too much trouble. The chef created a terrific menu. The staff set up a private area to eat and celebrate. The accommodation is older style but it blends unobtrusively with the rainforest. It is hard to imagine any other suitable product. It was a magic night and the staff and venue were brilliant
