Newcastle Beach Hotel

I travel a lot for work and often stay in budget motels which are mostly fine! After I booked our room, my partner read the negative reviews and arrived at the hotel with a stubbornly negative mindset because he did not want to stay at all. Each day his impression of the hotel improved, and we ended up staying an extra night (6 nights in total). The rooms had ducted air conditioning, were clean and tidy with a comfortable king size bed and nice pillows. I especially liked the pin code door locks so you're not carrying keys onto the beach. I would say most rooms would have breath taking views of the beach with the sound of waves crashing in the background which was great to fall asleep and wake up too. I found nothing wrong with this hotel, we both loved our stay and will return again because its value for money in a perfect location!

Great location, within minutes walk to Newcastle Beach and Nobby's. You really feel at home with the rooms.

What delight this hotel was! I was apprehensive about getting there late at night and no desk staff etc, "Easy Peasy" the code came, easily used, doors opened as expected, 3rd floor, good lift, excellent room. Loved having a shower that IS a shower and not over a bath, clean, in good condition. Room was excellent, King Sized and comfy bed, many chairs, space for everything (even unpacked as I was there 4 nights), lovely view and quiet. I could not believe how quiet actually, although there were a lot of people staying. The staff were excellent, so helpful next day and days after, nothing was a trouble for them and they were so friendly. I was meeting up with old friends and family, and it was an excellent place to base myself, near to everything I wanted to do and easy for them to come get me. Thank you for a fabulous experience and you know what, I did not miss the dolly birds at the front desk comparing their nails or hairstyles, one little bit! The check in and out worked like clockwork and was wonderful. Way to go.

Great place, convenient easy access and best location ocean views

Location and value for money is unbeatable. We stayed 2 nights and enjoyed the stay, 2 min walks to the beach for sunrise, sand play and the waves. For parking you do need a bit of planning yes. Free 4P available along the coast between Nobbys beach and Newcastle bath.

Room was large and clean, bathroom was large and clean, view from room wasn't the best, but was out at a conference all day everyday, but location was well worth it and very reasonable price. Booked through my travel agent, people that booked themselves didn't get as good a deal.

Great location right by the beach, you can hear the ocean as you sleep. Nice tidy room. The bathroom has an added bonus of a bathtub. Self check in is convenient. I will definitely be staying here again.

Comfortable, clean. Self check in. Helpful and professional customer service. Has off street parking, limited smallish spaces. Outside ticketed or via app 2 hr and 4hr Great location, can walk or lightrail to town centre.

Had a great sleep here.. Although it may look a bit dated, the room was comfortable and the bathroom was very functional..no issues at all..

Unbeatable view. Check in, opening doors, everything was easy using mobile tech for me & my sis. Nice humans are in there too- they gave me a bottle of wine for my birthday 😊🎁🍷

This is one of a vanishing kind: a wide variety of interesting food in generous servings, attentive service, miniscule prices. The downside is the windowless venue, so don’t expect a beach vibe. Take away is an option. One way or another, do try it and say hello to Chung and Shao Min.

The room was clean, sign in and room entry was simple and housekeeping was friendly and efficient. Wifi was also provided at no extra cost and the beds were clean and comfortable.

Hotel was clean easy to find and as described facilities were modern and functional building had good security only downside was parking

Amazing but ... We couldn't connect with the WiFi we had the password right just not working, amazing we loved it

We always stay here when we visit gorgeous Newcastle. Communication via email and text but the owners are always responsive.
