Kwon Mart / 권마트 뉴카슬 한인마트

First time visiting here! A nice local Korean store in the area! Inside the store is nice and clean well stocked foods are available there.
Due to the oil shortage and COVID situation, the price of the products seem to be more pricey but the quality is good.
We got some ingredients for sushi 🍱 and those are good stuffs! :)
Kids enjoy getting some Lollipops 🍭 there and a bottle of ramune!
Good store so visit there and enjoy it! :)

Lots of goods I thought I could only buy in Sydney, very good to know I can buy them close by in Newcastle, huge variety and decent pricing

👍 fantastic selection of Asian foods 😄 Plenty of new fun things to try that you won't find anywhere else. Our family enjoy making Okonomiyaki (Japanese savoury pancake) and find all of the base ingredients here ✔
The staff are always friendly and very helpful if you need to find something 😉 Always parking right out the front of the store.

Best Asian grocer in Newcastle area. Its a bit pricey but their range is unparalleled.

Our favourite grocery store! It started off with giving us a taste of Korea from the ready made products, now our home cooking has completely expected into new flavors and styles. Super friendly staff, the biggest selection in Newcastle! Next stop is Korea 🫰

Great range with a mix of different Asian cultures represented in both packaged and fresh food. Very well laid out. Lots of clear signage and pricing. Very neat and well kept store. Helpful staff if you need directions or have a question. They fit a lot into into this store! We'll definitely be back.

Awesome Asian grocery filled with a large variety of Asian packets goods such as instant noodles, sauces, teas etc. They have plenty of frozen goods and also stock fresh meat and vegetables. My favourite thing about this place has to be the imported alcoholic beverages from Japan and Korea available to takeaway cold or to cool.

Great Asian grocery, the prices are really competitive. A huge range of Korean goods here including snacks and skin care. The staff are friendly and the store is always clean and tidy. Worth making the trip out here.

Lovely little Asian Mart, I would consider myself a regular there. Very friendly staff, and equally well priced goods. Wide selection of Asian Alcohol although I must admit it's a little pricey, most likely to do with import legislation etc.

All in all I love this mart, and would recommend anyone with an affinity for asian foods to give it a shot!

This place is a great place to find essential Asian items. Clean tidy store, friendly staff, and a liquor area. It is a bit squeazy with a big stroller but totally doable if you don't mind reversing from time to time. Lots of good frozen stuff, not much in the way of fresh meat but frozen meat for hot pot etc. Small selection of Asian veggies that look tidy and fresh. Relatively busy which suggests that it has quite a few regulars. I agree, definitely worth going back too.

Amazing range of Asian food and ingredients! They also sell other Asian products (e.g. hair/beauty products, alcohol). Staff are really friendly too. Definitely one of the best Asian marts in Newcastle! Also they have gigantic onions.

Amazing Asian grocery, filled from wall to wall with appliances and cooking products, to ingredients that are hard to find elsewhere and beauty products. Great selection of foods to choose from, and the prices aren't bad for some of the items you get (such as a small bag of peeled garlic for a few dollars, but lasts at a few meals). Definitely worth checking out

Always super helpful and really helpful. Will drop everything immediately and help you find anything you need. Everything I've ever nneeded so far and great advice. Good grocery and meat section too. Lots of cooking and kitchen stuff. Great to have access to Soju in Newcastle too.
