Great accommodation. We stayed in the Garden Loft. It was clean and spacious. We loved the feeling on the terrace and enjoyed the room very much. Plenty of walks and beaches around and a refreshing swimming hole at Manson’s. We would definitely come back. Perfect accommodation for a rainforest experience.

We absolutely loved our stay here, it was an amazing place in pretty much the middle of nowhere, you really do feel as if you're in the middle of the rainforest, Steph the manager made us feel very welcome and helped us arrange a couple of tours.

The meal in the restaurant was fantastic, nicely cooked and the restaurant has cool indoor and outdoor areas so you can have your meal in the forest if you wish.

We chose a budget room and it was clean pleasant and spacious, perfect for our needs for a few days exploring the forest.

Love to go back

Great location and very supportive crew. The night walk is highly recommended. The guide Kane knows a lot about the rainforest and conveys it very enthusiastically. We had a delicious meal twice in Cassowary restaurant.

The rooms are outdated and there is not always a hot shower. But overall we enjoyed our stay very much!

We celebrated my partner's birthday and staying at this place was an amazing surprise. Everyone was incredibly friendly. In the evening, we had dinner at the hotel restaurant, and the food was absolutely delicious. We'll definitely be coming back.

Wonderful hotel in an unbeatable location. Stellar service. The rooms are nice and comfortable, but the hot water in the shower was difficult to work out. The beds on wheels slide underneath you when you lean your back into the wall, even if locked. Value for money is very good though. The location is great and the staff very friendly.

Just returned from Ferntree Rainforest Hotel where I stayed with family visiting from overseas. The location was great, the restaurant was great and the staff were amazing. In particular the restaurant staff went out of there way to make our experience awesome, even singing happy birthday to one of my party.

We stayed for 2 nights in a family room. It was very relaxing and comfortable - the king bed was a treat and I loved the fact that there was no TV. The kids really enjoyed the loft although I worried about them tripping down the steep stairs (although they didn't). We loved the pool in the tropical setting, and the restaurant was great. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Location is fantastic. I would stay here again.

Unique location in the World Heritage Daintree rainforest. Room was clean and large for 2. Food was excellent for lunch and dinner. All staff were friendly helpful and genuine. A shout out to Steph who was helpful and welcoming at all times.

Rustic but perfect in terms of ambiance and location. We felt completely immersed in the jungle in the best way possible. I especially loved the visits of a trio of "weird sisters"(i.e. Australian bushturkeys) each morning and dusk. They sat in a tree above our porch and entertained me. Restaurant food was not imaginative, but wait staff was great and it was the clearly best food in the neighborhood. The pizza on Pizza Night was truly outstanding.

You are not staying in this resort to stay in the Hilton - you are staying here to be in such a beautiful location the Daintree rainforest.
Like all reviews there are good and bad, and I noticed some expected more, honestly for a hotel that is completely off grid in the middle of a world heritage site it is pretty good.
The location is breath taking, right in the middle of the oldest rainforest on the planet.
The rooms are basic but very clean, very similar to a Bali style hotel room and the beds are comfy.
You do need to remember that being a rainforest the humidity and dampness is everywhere. If you are expecting your room to be dry all of the time, the truth is it won't, but don't let that stop you from staying here.
The staff are so helpful and willing to help when needed. Nelly is awesome and such a lovely person.
The pool is nice and was not busy at all.
I certainly will be staying again, am actually looking to re book for June 2024.

Gorgeous place. Surrounded by the beautiful Daintree rainforest. The whole area could do with some maintenance and it seems to be underway lots of busy workers. Check in easy and great. Lovely staff. The food was beautiful. Dinner and breakfast under the sky. Room furniture outdated but linen and mattress very clean and comfortable.
Overall would definitely be back.

This place is a must if your staying at Cape Tribulation.
The Pool was fantastic and next to the bar / restaurant.
The surroundings really do compliment the Rainforest area .
The room we stayed was perfect and in tune with the area .
The staff are excellent and very informative and helpful , Cassowary Restaurant is a must and the ambience was all we hoped for .
Definitely staying here again on our next trip up North .
And telling all our friends this place is a must when they travel up here .

Loved the place, staff were awesome and were very accommodating. My partner and I both in our late 20s visited on the 13/11/22 and had a blast. Rooms were clean and air-conditioned perfectly. People need to be realistic when booking this accomodation, you're in the jungle practically where there are bugs, spiders and mozzies, don't be expecting the Ritz. Staff went above and beyond to accommodate! PS get a new pool table 😄

Great place to stay - it wasn't too full when we were there in early December. They upgraded our rooms for free which was very nice. The pool's great and the staff is friendly. It is right around the corner from Ocean Safari (a snorkeling day trip to the Great Barrier Reef) which we did and loved!

A truly beautiful place to be for a while. We stayed for four nights and then added an extra because we didn't want to leave! The staff were super nice and the night walk was well worth it! We also really enjoyed the reef tour from Ocean Safari. Totally recommend and we aim to go back one day!

Accomodation was immaculate, so serene. Was like being in the middle of a rainforest but with all the mod cons. Restaurant food and staff were awesome. Had the best time, a totally jam packed holiday but still totally relaxing. We did horse riding, night jungle tour, zip lining. Totally amazing holiday. Can’t wait to do it again.
Thank you to the staff who made it that little bit extra. xx

Loved being right in the middle of the rainforest. Great location and short walk to Myall beach and a boardwalk through the forest. The rooms were large and loved the loft room so our 2 children stayed at the top. Note the stairs are steep so not suitable for very young children. Ours are 6 and 7 and were fine. The restaurant was great and the staff all friendly. We had giant golden orb spider outside the room, we soon got used to seeing these harmless 'neighbours' about! We highly recommend the night safari and Kane, our guide, was excellent. That was a highlight.

Unfortunately I agree with others re the tiredness of the rooms, having said that because they were comfortable and having the rain forest setting it didn’t spoil our stay. The restaurant was superb bettered only by the always smiling and friendly staff, they were awesome.

The location was excellent, right in the middle of Rainforest, and it felt like it. There were large, beautiful golden orb weaver spider webs in the trees around our building, and the pleasant sound of ambient rainforest creatures around the place. Inside the rooms were clean and appeared well maintained. The staff of the hotel was helpful and went above and beyond with some education when we interacted with them and the restaurant staff was wonderful during both breakfast and dinner (the food was delicious as well).
If you want a place that provides the ambiance of the Rainforest in a clean, up-to-date living space, then look no further than the Ferntree Rainforest Hotel.
